Really time in Milwaukee:
1 hit thru 9, down 2 zip, Rockies get back 2 back hits.
Then a ball down the RF line initially ruled an automatic double, but replay says foul.
-
Blackmon battles after the replay, singles thru the right side plating a run.
2-1 Brewers.
Runners on 1st/2nd
No outs
-
LaMamaihue gets an slow roller under the SS glove. E6 loads them up.
Still no outs.
-
0-2 sac fly from Arrenado ties the game.
Blackmon takes 3rd on the throw.
Terrible 0-2 pitch.
-
Sac fly ties it up! 1 out
-
Blackmon caught on no man's land on the contact play.
1st/2nd 2 outs.
-
I knew when they brought in Hader in the 7th, it was going to burn them in the 9th.
-
Story could not recognize slider. He swung at 3 pitches that the catcher could barely touch.
Mid 9
2-2
-
Uh, I can't tell if Desmond was safe or out.
-
Rockies (Story) catch a break there - looked like the tag missed him.
-
Replay sticks with the call on the field.
Probably the right thing to do, but not definitive.
(Play was a high throw from SS, 1B jumps, turns, tags runner)
-

Live I thought he was out, but replay looks like he just missed the jersey to me.

I'm not sure the tag was there either.
-
Ah extras....
-
Mike Foltynewicz not off to a great start against LA tonight.
-
Rockies go down in order in the 10th.
#8 hitter was 3rd out. 9 spot occupied by Wolters who PH'd in the 9th. Pitcher is currently in the 4 hole. And apparently they're out of bench players.
Brewers have 2, 3, 4 hitters coming up.
-
Leadoff walk puts Yelich on 1st for Braun.
-
Wild pitch puts Yelich on 2nd.
AJ Peirniskydfty adroitly points out that the wild pitch/ advancement takes a steal of 2nd out of the picture.
-
Braun Ks on a nasty slider.
-
IBB and a 6-4 FC puts Yelich on 3rd, Granderson on 1st, 2 out.
And they're pitching to Moustakis.

I don't think they trust Ottavino not to walk the next guy.
-
Wow.
Moustakis 2 strike foul tip rattles out of the catcher's glove, next pitch ripped to RF to win it.
-
That was 0-2 to Moustakis.
Baseball is a fickle mistress.
-
This has the makings of a very entertaining series...

Sometimes it’s a game of less than inches.

FTD with an early 4-0 lead over Braves on solo shot in 1st by Joc and a 2nd inning 3 run HR from Muncy
-
Inauspicious outing for Folty.
-
Braves with 1 hit thru 4.

Point of Order: Are our memories so short? FTB.

I’d forgotten how much I hated the tomahawk chop.

Has there been amazement elsewhere on this site about Eric Kratz?

the chop was the same but the cast so different. i can remeber a time when most of the teams names where etched in my memory like a bad reoccurring nightmare

Starting to think that a quick end to the NLDS would be a good thing, so that the Brewers aren't facing a tired team to start the NLCS. Basically, I want as many teams as possible left in the playoffs - save the Astros - to have the hardest time.

Dodgers win. Hopefully, they and Selig’s cuckoos will beat the ever-lovin’ shit out of each other.
And the Dodgers win. Fuck the Brewers.
