Yuli breaks the scoreless tie with an RBI single with 2 out in the 3rd. 1-0 Astros end of 3.
-
Rumor has it there will be another ring game around the middle of August. We heard the Colorado series. I think the Wednesday game.

There’s one coming up in July, right?

A Feds gapper scores Gattis and Marwin. 3-0 Astros with no out in the 4th.

Next week. It sold out in a couple hours.

I’m resigned to not getting one.

McCullers is very efficient. Only 67 pitches through five.

I just don’t feel right about paying a premium for a giveaway.

Marwin fails to act against Volstad. Astros prohibited from adding to the lead.

Which begs the question, are the one's they give away at the games, one size fits all, or are they sized differently and you tell them what size (11) you need? Also what do they have on them in place of a player's name? The replicas I've seen online are sized and you can choose between Springer, Altuve, or Correa.

McCullers gives up the first Sox hit of the game with 1 out in the 6th. Aaaand another. Runners on the corners.
-
No hitter gone.

One size. I'll have to look at mine to answer your other questions.
Oh and we blame the wave for the three straight hits.
-
Fuck, single up the middle scores the Sox first run. Still 1 out and runners on the corners.
-
McCullers gets the GIDP. 3-1 Astros mid-6.
-
Oh and we blame the wave for the three straight hits.
It’s bad enough they do the wave but while they’re on defense?? WTF?

It started at the hit. People aren't paying attention. Are you surprised?
-
What a bunch of idiot necks. Dude is pitching a no-hitter and some bunch of drunk fuckwits start doing the wave.
That's why I can't go to games anymore. I despair of humanity.
-
You should need a license to be able to start the wave at a stadium.

I see what you did there.
-
McCullers unfazed by last inning, sets the order down in the 7th. 3-1 Astros.

Nominated.

Yuli gets grazed on the jersey by a pitch and doesn’t want to go to first. He does and that chases Volstad.

I've never seen altuve move so slow as when he walked to second.

Thankfully, he was able to pick up the pace and score on that Gattis double.

Capt. Caveman, Esq. doubles down the LF line to score Altuve. 4-1 Astros bottom 7.

Damn Jake that was hot.
-
2 fucking stellar plays this inning. Altuve with a running basket catch running out and Jake with a diving catch in the LCF gap. 4-1 Astros mid-8.
-
Damn Jake that was hot.
He was pissed he missed Altuve’s flip.
-
Bregman RBI single to left. 5-1 Astros with 1 out bottom 8.
-
Well, that was the opposite of the Marisnick catch.

I only saw part of it. I saw the missed catch but couldn't see what he did and the yuli was walking to second. Great play.

What did that ball do to Evan to deserve such a whoopin’?
-
7 runs in that spectacular inning. 11-1 Astros.
-
Who didn't know he was gonna hit that? It was just waiting for him.
-
That's why I can't go to games anymore. I despair of humanity.
Crowd behavior at baseball games is pretty low on my list of reasons for despair. Although losing Pruitt improved my outlook a notch or two.
-

He's 3-4 with 2 runs and 4 steaks. The ball must look like a softball to him.

Plus that pitch was hung like a Picasso.
-
Fucking wave started again.
-
Peacock gives up a slop 2-run HR with 2 out. 11-3 Astros.
-
FUCKING WAVE!! 11-4 Astros.
-
FFS Brad! Get the last out!
-
Woo hoo
-
Peacock's last few outings have been a little concerning.
-
Ballgame! Nice vaunting guys!!
-
Peacock's last few outings have been a little concerning.
Rondon was warming but that 7 run inning meant Brad was coming back out. His 8th was good.
-
I got home just in time to see those 7 runs happen. Let's just say the South-siders are not very good...
-
His 8th was good.
His 8th was lucky.
-
His 8th was lucky.
That's what your defense is for.

I felt bad for Peacock. He was just laying the ball in there trying to get the game over with, and they his two meaningless homers. I know he was thinking “this is not fair.”
I think he has been good lately, and I would not mind if he and Smith get some of the innings Harris has been getting.
