Springer getting another day off. I know he’s struggling but still kind of surprising. He sits while two lefties, Reddick and Kemp, get the start against a left handed pitcher.

He hurt his back on the last dive.

I wondered about that. He didn't seem real happy.

Had not heard that. Need him in the lineup but as long as it isn’t serious it could be a blessing in disguise. He could use a few days off in a row in my opinion.

Shitfuck. Two runs on a fucking bloop that's barely fair.

Bauers flies out F7 on the first pitch
But the Astros lollygag away the lead, 2-1
-
Wow. That's having your head so far up your ass you can see you small intestine.
-
What a crappy turn of events. Frustrating.
-
Astros with the bases loaded, one out for Altuve...this is your game right here...
-
Ump just completely changed Altuve's AB.

Ughh!

Fuck. Time for a day off.

-
The cement mixer to Altuve was the one to hit.
-
Fuck. Time for a day off.
Who do you want to bench this time?
-
Unbelievable that they are going to leave Morton on the hook for this loss.
-
The cement mixer to Altuve was the one to hit.
I know which one wasn't...the 3-2 pitch that was so far off the plate in the dirt that he couldn't have hit if he were in the other batters box.
-
Altuve drives me nuts. Ball four, tie game, not close enough to fool a patient hitter
He was swinging when the ball left the pitcher’s hand.
-
Astros are 0 for 14 w/RISP this series
-

Given the situation, that was almost as bad a play as Reddick’s fuck up in right.

Looked like Reddick forgot there were two runners on base
-
B8:
Peacock in...
Robertson taps back to the mound, 1-3
Gomez strikes out swinging
Smith homers to RCF...his first home run of the season
Ramos strikes out swinging
3-1 Rays
-
First homer in 350 days (I think that's what Kalas said).
-
The Astros started three guys who are going to get Cy Young votes and are poised to get swept.
-
CAVEMAN!!!
Get 'em back to within a run
Time for Reddick to start a little something and make up for his fuck up
-
Gattis again! Now we can lose 3-2. Thanks Peacock.
-
Looked like Reddick forgot there were two runners on base
Odd since he has to look right past him to see the batter.
-

That's all I can think of...looked like he was watching the batter, making sure to hold him to a single
-

And yet as you know inexcusable.

Certainly. Just speculating on what happened

It does make the most sense, but as you said eyes on the small intestine.
-
T9:
Romo in for the Rays
Gattis homers to LF on the first pitch
White...works the count full...walks
Springer to pinch run for White
Reddick grounds into a 6U-3 double play into the shift
Marwin, pinch hitting for Stassi...grounds out 4-3
Ballgame. 3-2 Rays
-
What a shitty fucking series.
Did not score a run on anything other than a home run.
-
Reddick wrecked the 7th and 9th innings all on his own.
-
What a shitty offensive series.
4 games, 7 runs, all on homers, 0 hits with RISP.
-
Reddick wrecked the 7th and 9th innings all on his own.
The 9th he hit it hard, just right into the shift. But he fucked up monumentally in the 7th.
-
Reddick wrecked the 7th and 9th innings all on his own.
And Altuve wrecked the 8th.
Gurriel had numerous chances, but left the bases loaded. The next pitch...Gattis...frustrating as hell.

Altuve just can not control his emotions in the box.
-
Marwin's error the other night...Reddicks brain fart today...two plays that could have changed this series
-
Who do you want to bench this time?
That wasn't me, boss. But I am more than a little worried about going into Arlington in the current funk.
-

Even so, a bad throw from SS and a momentary coma in RF cost us two games.
-

The failed dig at first . . .
-

The more I think about it the worse Altuve’s strike out looks. If Gurriel hits the same bouncer after an Altuve walk then it scores a run. That would be a 3-2 lead and still batting.

They might have had the infield in and it score two runs. It completely changed the game. It was there for the taking, just didn't take it.
-
Hinch postgame:
On Reddick's fuck up...he just got indecisive, not wanting to let the run score by throwing the ball to 2B...
So he just held it and let the run score, I guess. No way to spin that one, just a mental fuck up.
-
The failed dig at first . . .
Yes, it was a failed dig, but it was an equally shitty throw.

To lazy to do the leg work, but don’t we have a worse record against the Rays than any other team in the AL since coming over here?

It's a million fucking degrees, and the Love Street an cigar aren't nearly as good after a bad loss.
The good news is, Gattis is on pace to hit 48 home runs in July.

The throw was terrible yet Reed gets the blame. Crazy.

21-31 all time vs the Rays. 15-25 since joining the AL.

I think an average of 2.2 runs scored per game at the trop.
That may be a tad lower now.
