Keuchel struggling in the first again.
-
Down by 3 now with one out and runners on the corner.
-
Good grief.
-
The return of “good Keuchel” certainly was a fleeting moment.

Wow, Keuchel. 5 runs now. Pathetic.
-
Tell me more about how those should have been ours, Dallas.

-
They send nine to the plate, five of 'em came around to score.
-
Pathetic.
-
Either batting practice or an artillery barrage. Could not tell which.
-
Four hits against Dallas exceeded an exit velocity of 101 in the top of the 1st, probably because of the shift.

Gattis missed a 3 run homer by a couple feet and settles for a double that drives in 2.

This ain’t over. Get ready McHugh.

Dallas totally looking like a pitcher about to hit free agency.

Does he look like a pitcher?

Those were soft 101s.

Keuchel pitches now have the movement that was absent in the first. Easy peasy 1-2-3 inning.
It's a fuckin' mystery.

Please, let there be a nagging back or neck issue that will benefit from some DL time.
Because otherwise he seems like the type of mess that won't get sorted out this season.
-
A lottanada in the second.
5-3 Canadians

I'm thinking some sort of VR system that would get him through a virtual 1st inning.
-
Bregman’s wispy mustache was really holding him back.

Alex Baseball.

Move the runner, Jose
-
Move the runner, Jose
Not doing so cost a run.

2 days off in a row for Correa?
-
2 days off in a row for Correa?
Sparks theorizing too that he'll get more time off in Florida, given the astroturf and all.
-
There's a lot to like about Tony Kemp.
-
George is still trying to pull everything.

George is still trying to pull everything.
Yes. Reaching and rolling over.
-
Bregman doubles again.
Get. Him. Over.
-
Good Lord. This guy is throwing straight up slop.
-
Congratulations to Captain Caveman, the new Astros record holder for RBI in June.

Pretty incredible.
And thank goodness he picked up Altuve and Yuli.

Fastball, changeup
-
Alex Baseball leads off with a double (again), Jose and Yuli leave him there (again) but El Oso Blanco doubles Alex in and we're 5-4 Canadians through 5.

MVP

Why is Keuchel still in there???!!?!?!??!
-
Why is Keuchel still in there???!!?!?!??!
Because he was pitching well?
-
What happened on that Altuve error?
-
Is that right? I'm not watching the game and can only peek at Gameday occasionally. Was he getting dinked?
-
What happened on that Altuve error?
Bases loaded, he charged in to try and get the DP and bobbled the scoop. All safe.
-

He got blasted in the 1st. Pitched well after that.
-
Peacock strikes out both batters he faced with the bases loaded. Inning over.

End of bat single, single because of shift, walk, error

Went right between his legs through the 5 hole. Had a DP chance with Marwin’s arm
-
Thanks for the context, Jim and AFIBD. It sux that work gets in the way of my personal life and can't watch the game. How rude.

Indeed. Go on strike.
-
Yuli's RISP taking a big hit today.

Yep.
And Springer tattoos a ball to dead center. Extra bases anywhere else in the park.
-
Have I missed something with Correa?
-
Have I missed something with Correa?
His back hurts.
-
Marwin hits a HR to RCF to get the Astros within 1 run with 2 out in the 8th.
-
His back hurts.
Thanks
-
Trailing in the 8th, and three guys watch strike three go by.
-
Hold Your Breath Harris
-
Walk it off...
-
Bregman be hacking
-
Springer is just flat ass worthless in RBI situations right now.
-
Walk off!!!

Holy shit that was satisfying!
-
Relentless.
-
Wild swing.
Wild swing.
DESTRUCTOBALL!
-
Kemp got it going
-
How freaking clutch is Bregman
-
Kemp got it going
What a way to perform after being called up.
-
Kemp got it going
I was way wrong when I thought he was a homeless man's Altuve.
He is, at the very least, a middle-class homebuyer's Altuve.
-
Wild swing.
Wild swing.
DESTRUCTOBALL!
He guessed breaking ball after two fastballs. He guessed right.

The home run was a fastball. Same as the first two.

Yep. Meat just didn’t get it high enough. Bregman handled that for him.

Catcher was set up inside, where the first two were, but it was out over the plate. You could see Maile drop his head. Tepera not only missed his spot, he practically hit the bat with the pitch.

Ok, I misunderstood his interview then.

Enjoyed the A. J. Hinch bear hug of Bregman around 3:06:50.

Looked like a Dad hugging a son.

That was a fastball. He just got it too low. Bregman said he had to get on top of the ball, and he raised his hands on the pitch.
