Blummer essentially said Gardner is a douche for arguing that one.
I say he's was a douche way before that.

Was Carlos moving on contact or was that simply a bad base running decision? I couldn’t tell.

His cause isn’t helped by the fact that he looks like a throbbing penis all the time.

I figure by now that kid could pour her own orange juice. It's like Minute Maid is stunting her mental development. It has been a couple years on and she hasn't progressed at all. Still drawing the same dumb pictures.

This happens sometimes when you run on contact.
ETA: The game had playoff intensity—great ballgame.

Giles was very impressive. What an asset if he can stay in that gear.

2 run lead felt great until they got a runner on and the meat of their order coming up.

A moral victory, that's hilarious. I've always understood there is no such thing in baseball.

Wouldn't it be unusual to be running on contact with runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs, and the infield in?

No. Infield in is one spot to run on contact. Springer scored on it in the 1st.
Depends on how important the mgr. thinks the run is and whether he will gamble on another hit or a sac fly.
