Title: MLB Rankings of positions
Post by: Duman on January 21, 2018, 04:21:36 pm
MLB Network is filling the void with some position by position rankings (http://mlb.com/r/article?ymd=20180113&content_id=264680678&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=mlb).  They have Altuve & Correa as the best 2nd & SS.  It was the right field rankings that interested me. Look at the Astros connections.

1.   Judge
2.   Stanton
3.   Betts
4.   Harper
5.   JD Martinez (2011 - 13)
6.   Reddick (17 - Present)
7.   Avisail Garcia
8.   Domingo Santana (14-15 )
9.   Mitch Haniger
10. Dexter Fowler (14)

Bregman was 7th or 8th among the third basemen. yuli is likely in the top 10 first basemen. Certainly Springer will be a top 10 CF.

Bregman came in 9th which is very good considering how young he is.

If they look at marwin as a left fielder I could see an Astro being on every top 10 list and that's pretty cool.

I wonder if the Astros look at Marwin as a LFer?

They listed him as an outfielder at FanFest, and on the 40-man roster. Of course, Hinch crossed out "outfielder" on his card at FanFest and wrote "LF/2B/SS/3B/?"

And he played several games at 1B.
