Two out rally in second that was triggered by a Fisher double.

Think he'll bring in a real pitcher this time? I hope we get out of this inning tied.
-
Managerial malpractice. Again. What a fucking shit show.
-
I just don't get how Hinch could be so deft at handling the pen for three quarters of the year or whatever it was and then suddenly be so terrible at it. Of course I'd love to pin it on the FO but I just can't see the guys upstairs telling him that he has to get certain guys a certain amount of work.
-
If he wants to run Spring Training in September, can he at least wait until the division is clinched?
-
Musgrove should have come in to start the inning.

1st and 2nd, no outs, 4 runs in. Musgrove is the honey badger. He don't care.

Who or what pitches the 9th?
-
Sipp entering the game to "Sabotage" is a little too on the nose.

I would assume that Giles for the 9th, but I can't remember how much he's been used recently.

Better than Fiers entering the game to "Suicide is Painless."

This would be his third straight game.

Never thought I'd say it when he was a starter:
Must Love Musgrove

Do the Beastie Boys have a song called "(It's been) two years since I didn't suck?"
-
All relievers should enter to "Turd on the Run" until they have an outing without letting anyone on base.

Count your blessings you didn't see the 8th.

Yeah, that one was tough on the blood pressure.

A lot easier to watch in replay when you know the final score.

Hinch has zero feel for handling the bullpen.
This is definitely not true.

Musgrove should have come in to start the inning.
Hindsight is great, ain't it? No one would use Musgrove with a 6 run lead. He stayed with Martes too long, but using him was the right move.

Yeah, I've got no problem with Martes starting the inning, but he should have been gone after the 3rd batter. He hasn't yet learned how to shake off adversity. I suppose one could argue that now is as good a time as any to work on it since there really isn't much at risk right now, but I'd like to see them start to get back to that mindset they had earlier in the year when really seemed to think that nobody could beat them. Having relievers throw gasoline on everything doesn't help in that regard. Thank heaven for Musgrove.

3 months ago Musgrove was going to be in AAA per the experts.

Hindsight isn't that great. Unless you have a time machine.
