So far I'm much happier with tonight's game. They even covered second base on a double-play ball.
-
What is it about second base at this place?
-
Is Carlos's mole growing back? If so, that's an encouraging sign. I think it's his equivalent of Samson's hair.

I feel kind of bad for Sanchez. But only kind of.

Apparently, the Astros play better after a night of sleep in hotel beds. Home bed has an adverse effect on bats, and the charter flight chair in recline mode negatively affects ability to make routine defensive plays.

Thank you, Mr. Pearce. I have no idea what he was thinking there.

I got to break from play by play whilst I eat some food.

Reddick strikes out for his second out of the inning.

Bregman K, not Reddick.
-
They are abusing these Toronto pitchers.
-
The Jays fans were booing Correa? Did something happen in yesterday's game with him?
-
Nice play by Bregman.
-
Correa called out the pitcher on last night's last out for grandstanding.
-
Good to see the orange billed caps back tonight.
-
I keep watching the crowd for the Senator, but haven't spotted him.

Out in public he might have to answer questions. You won't be seeing him in any uncontrolled situations anytime soon.

We know that the Canadians affected the last election, with the Senator running an ineffectual campaign to allow the Trump election. And we haven't heard anymore about the Canadians paying for a wall since the inauguration. He must be feeling pretty cocky. I'm just wondering what those pitch speeds are code for.

Toronto's plan to wear them out is clearly working.

Rope-a-Dope.
-
Man, Morton's start was just what the doctor ordered.
-
Gattis!
-
Man, Springer is dialed in like a motherfucker!

It's going to be a failed night if he doesn't get a triple.
-
When they signed Tony, this is just the game they had in mind.
-

Failed. Marisnick in, Springer getting some rest.

Man. I bet he feels lousy. He looks depressed in the dugout.
-
Maybe they need to put the Stros up in hotels in Houston.
-
The Jays fans were booing Correa? Did something happen in yesterday's game with him?
There was an article this morning were Correa called out the BJ's closer for the last out last night. He fielded an easy grounder from Correa and held the ball until Correa got close to first before he threw. Carlos wasn't happy about it.
-
Martes in to close things out.
-
Carrera HR. 12-2.
-
Donaldson pops out to Correa.
-
I hate Smoak. On a full count, Smoak foul tips.
-
Morales singles to left field.
-
Pearce. Strike looking. Strike swinging. Martes needs to go right at him. Ball on a curve. Foul on a 97 mph fastball. Strikes out swinging.
12-2.
-
That game was so much better than the last.

Damn this has been a fun season thus far! Go 'Stros!

Alas, baseball-splaining (among other things) to an almost 2-year old takes up much of my time these days...
Still around though, and hope to spend a little more time 'enjoying the ride' at OWA in the second half!

Great advice! Its the ethical considerations that I'm having trouble deciding how to teach... For example, if you could go back in time and kill Selig before he was born, would you? Should you? And how do you explain Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to a child?!? I haven't a clue how to handle those things...

You never show it to them, of course.

When they're old enough you just show them the South Park episode.

My boys love Indiana Jones and they loved Crystal Skull. It's not that hard to appeal to a 5 year old.
