That sucks.  How bad did it look?

I just tuned in to the radio feed on mlb.  Blacked out here in south Georgia for mlb.tv.

Springer takes two cookies then punches out on a pitch in the dirt. Correa takes two cookies then punches out on a pitch in the dirt. But it doesn't matter. The Astros are in first places

No! (as the rest of the game demonstrated)

This is clearly wrong.  Derek Bell was the completest thing until they moved him from second in the batting order.

I certainly appreciate his deep knowledge of the game. It's second to none.

Think so?

The Astros are 14-6 at home, 13-6 on the road.

the road record is what impresses me the most about this club.

That and the home record.

The overall record is good too.

I'm a little concerned about their record in the first games of doubleheaders.

No. This is HH's GZ persona. He was the greatest player who ever played, and no one else measures up.

Trust me. He is a great guy in person.

Aw shucks...I never said I was the greatest.

And just a reminder since I seem to be everyone's favorite whipping boy today:  the GZ is full of emotion. We cheer when our team does good and we wail when they don't. It's in the moment. It's is not always meant to be taken as reasoned analysis. Though I stand by my observation that the pen was for shit on Sunday.

The GZ is watching the game at a bar with people you don't really know who happen to share a common affinity for a group of remote millionaires.

Not me.  I didn't pile on.  I had your back, standing right behind you in case folks really started flinging stuff.  I was having to duck a little bit though.

Hopefully it didn't ruin your suit.

I understand.  No hard feelings on my end.  I've been lurking here a long time.  A LONG time before I really started posting at all.  There are a handful of people I do enjoy reading stuff from.  You're one of them.  I just got caught up in the moment myself when I complained about the "bitching."
