I guess we can't expect competent base running when most of the players haven't had the pleasure yet this season.

Three base runners thrown out. Refdick got fucked on that one. Challenge was past the 30 second deadline, then replay showed he was safe. Overturning that is absurd. I fucking hate replay.
-
This is unwatchable.
-
I hate this Mickey Mouse losing-contact-with-the-base-for-a-fraction-of-a-second bullshit.
-
Marwin comes straight home that's an out at the plate. Damn.
-
Now Marwin has idiot base runner disease. Ugh.
-
This is one ugly fucking offense right now.
-
These fucking double plays are getting really old.
-
This is brutal to watch.

This is brutal to watch.
It's like watching Matt Schaub run a quarterback draw, over and over and over...
-
Hell yeah Marwin!
-
Without Springer and Marwin this team would be fucked
-
3-3 headed to the 8th, btw.

If everyone else would just strike out instead of hit into a double play we'd be in better shape.
-
Bregman is fucking lost at the plate.

Bregman is fucking lost at the plate.
Not really surprising if they're going to call pitches like that last one strikes.
-
Why the fuck is Alruve still on 1B?
-
Gurriel is fucking lost at the plate.
-
Astros leave the bases loaded in the 8th. Still looking for the first RBI from the 2, 3, 5 or 6 hole.
-
Another solo home run...to the bottom of the 9th...4-3 Royals.

That sucked, that pitch was below the zone and Moss still went down and got it.

Ho lee chit!
-
Well okay then, Jake
-
Extra baseball!
-
Correa showing off his power.
-
Another inning ending GIDP. Ugh
-
Man, devo is so valuable

Cleared the 2-5 spots, got a chance to score...

Gurriel is fucking lost at the plate.
Gurriel has been abysmal and doesn't have an MLB track record of success to his credit. Marwin should be provided the majority of the ABs/1B starts until Gurriel earns them.

Problem is, you can say the same about Bregman/3B

Patience, grasshopper. I saw his potential during ST.

Devo fucking rocks. Let's make him a winner, boys!

He's 32 years old and these games count. I'm not giving up on him by any means, but players succeeding should be rewarded with playing time, not the guys with the biggest contracts. Marwin will take more ABs in the near term rotating in for both Bregman and Gurriel until they get going, and I'm fine with that, but I'd like to see Marwin playing most days until they actually do.

I agree that you have to keep Marwin's bat in the lineup. If that's at the expense of Gurriel, then so be it.

Walk off walk!!!
Astros win!!

Win!

Sweet! That's like, what, the third run that hasn't scored on a homer?
