I was actually wondering how long before we got a hit...
What was it, four or five innings last night?
-
Apparently Peacock doesn't like leads either.
-
I wonder what Ground Control sees in Peacock.
-
These A's announcers are horrible.

A replacement for 2 injured starters.
-
Peacock has done a good job the last two times out.

Seriously.
At least numbers-wise, Peacock is 10x the pitcher Fiers, Fister, or McHuch have been.
-
Tyler White!!
-
The great White comes through!

He's been good since he's been called up. I'm glad to see it.
-
They're looking at the slide?
-
Damn it!
-
Holy shit what a play by Madson.
-
Correa likes that Madson guy
-
I don't know that that was a called hit and run - my favorite play in baseball - but it worked.
-
MARWIN
-
I knew for a fact that Marwin was going to drive in some runs there.
I should also say that after the excitement Peacock pitched great.
-
I love the heart this team has, it's fun to watch.
-
Rollie Fingers there sitting along the third base line is on at least his second hat of the game. He brings more hats to the park than Hudson brings to work.
-
Nice, Giles.

So is Peacock on the list for a rotation spot next year? Maybe to replace Fister? He has added a pitch I hear and looking good now. I just don't trust him to stay healthy.
-
Has his health been a big issue? I must admit, with his role as a AAAA player the last few years, I've sort of tuned out on him.
From what I've seen this year (which admittedly isn't much), he is pretty much like other years: poor fastball command and an assortment of good secondary pitches. I always felt that if he could get some strikes with his fastball, without getting tagged, he could be effective. Is just that he rarely did that.
Anyways, it's great to see what he has given the club this year. A lot of the callups have done tremendous work.

I see what you did there...

I only wear one to work. I'm not sure what the big deal is. I even had one gentleman say to me today in the elevator "the world's gone to hell since men stopped wearing hats."

You have your theories, others have theirs.

I blame the rise of social media which just happed to coincide with the decline in hat wearing.
