Bregman with a single
-
I am surprised to see Jose in the line up after the way he pulled up on the final play last night.
-
Yuli drives in Bregman with a bloop single.

AJ said it was just a cramp but he would still not give Altuve the option of playing the field today.

Ha, I walked around all pissed off yesterday because of that final play.
-
I'm lost, wasn't Keuchel supposed to start one of these games?
-
Springer was going for another dinger on that one! That was some swing..

Arm fatigue, pushed back to Tuesday.

That's White not Gurriel, Ashby!
-
Ashby takes some perverse joy in reminding us how bad the Astros record is against these hooligans.

I have a great idea for a premium give-away. Ashby pinata night.
-
Looks like a lot of these Rangers fans just left a Trump rally.
Springer should have tagged there.
-
That little fucker sure is good. Looks like I'll be hating him for many years to come.

Dude has some serious thump. Can't stand him.
-
Big hit there by Gattis to break the bad momentum.
-
Bunting with two strikes? Why Rasmus, why?
-
McHugh giving it right back.
I want to believe this team can make a run, but this starting staff seems like it's toast.
-
Might want to pull McHugh.....
-
I am so fucking sick of McHugh pissing away leads.
-

No, you have to let them catch up first.
McHugh looked terrible in the fourth, barely getting out of it and Hinch lets him pitch to five batters in the fifth.
-
#1 on Luhnow's shopping list has to be some top-of-the-rotation types.
-
McHugh is just absolutely allergic to run support.

He thought he had two a couple months ago. Agree that it should be his priority this offseason but pickins will be slim

What a great break.
-
I was absolutely sure the Rangers were going to turn two there on that unbelievable diving stop by profar, and I am relieved I don't have to feel the feelings that it was going to conjure up.

Gomez bunts a perfect single down the first base line and then steals second. Now, he's bleeding from a wound above his orbital bone.

Should have been out at 2b but Correa neglected to catch the throw. Something always going wrong against these guys.
-
It's a bit of everything against the Rangers: Correa fails to field a routine throw. Great throw by Gattis.

?? What two are you referring to?
-
That inning ended rather well.
That's one nasty change up.
-
I think Bregman is the second best hitter on the club.
-
Say what you want about the Ranger manager, "He's a fuckwad, he's an ass, he's a dick, he's a piece of crap, he's a ninny and his mother is a whore... etc." He does manage his dugout well.
-
Meanwhile, Eduardo Rodriguez is currently 7 innings deep in a hittless venture against the A's
-
2-run lead heading into the 9th, heart of Rangers order up in the bottom. Can they hold it?

Will they?
-
Why is this so hard? Even the Twins have an occasional laugher.
-
Bottom of 9 Astros 7 Ranger 2
Just like that... Desmond triples on first pitch.
-
Beltre is the guy that scares the shit out of me.
-
Beltran goes down (on strikes).
-
Beltre grounds out short to first, Desmond scores.
-
Stinky Mofo whiffs on a dirty slider.
Ballgame. Astros 7 Ranger 6

Thank you, thank you. Especially nice to have Odor make the last out. On to Cleveland, where they need to make some hay.

Very nice. The ideal ending for me would have somehow involved Gomez fucking up on the last play, but this will do.

Hamels looks like he's having a blast today.
