Okay, that was not expected.  Certainly does open up the possibilities if they toy with Bregman getting time in left this year.  I knew next year it was talked about.  Could lead to an early exit of Gomez.  Or perhaps he is headed to the dl again.

ETA
Rasmus/Marisnick center
Marwin/Bregman in left
Valbuena/Bregman 3B
Marwin/Valbuena/Reed at 1B till Gurriel (Valbuena moving over for Gurriel at 3B) is ready, or perhaps White gets a second chance before Gurriel is ready.
DH Anyone not starting/Gattis

Worth stays as that reserve guy who can play anywhere

In 2004, when he set the hit record, Ichiro had 136 hits through 94 games.

Through 94 games, Altuve had 131. And started today with another.

And the impact of having Marisnick on the field already shows itself. Altuve calls for the ball on a pop-up to shallow RF, but Marwin tries to grab it anyways and the end result is it falls on the ground. Runner on first, 1 out.

runners at 2nd and 3rd no outs and the next three follow with 2ks and a ground out.  that's the way to take advantage.

I'm not appointing Devenski to that role but he looked good again today. I like his pace and his demeanor. He looks fearless out there. Would like to see him get more work from the 7th on.

If he can hit the corners consistently. Until then he's a hard throwing setup man.
