Okay, that was not expected. Certainly does open up the possibilities if they toy with Bregman getting time in left this year. I knew next year it was talked about. Could lead to an early exit of Gomez. Or perhaps he is headed to the dl again.
ETA
Rasmus/Marisnick center
Marwin/Bregman in left
Valbuena/Bregman 3B
Marwin/Valbuena/Reed at 1B till Gurriel (Valbuena moving over for Gurriel at 3B) is ready, or perhaps White gets a second chance before Gurriel is ready.
DH Anyone not starting/Gattis
Worth stays as that reserve guy who can play anywhere

Luhnow said LF was a possibility some time ago.

He's on an 11-15 streak which is insane.

Would Marisnick have made that play? Lol
-
May be time for Bregman up, Reed down.
-
Going to the bottom of the 5th still 3-0 Stros.

Yup.

Oh shit, Marisnick in.
-
And the impact of having Marisnick on the field already shows itself. Altuve calls for the ball on a pop-up to shallow RF, but Marwin tries to grab it anyways and the end result is it falls on the ground. Runner on first, 1 out.
-
Luckily the Astros didn't go and Marisnick that inning. Plenty of game left though.
-
Anyone else having deja vu?
-
That was ugly.
-
runners at 2nd and 3rd no outs and the next three follow with 2ks and a ground out. that's the way to take advantage.
-
Anyone else having deja vu?
Double play ended that feeling.
-
Oops Marisnick did it again, he hit a double.
and he's now batting .200

Dumbknuck is my least favorite new entrant in quite some time. He seems always on the verge of breaking out an emoji.

Stop the lol. I will pay to get you banned if you do not.

Correa bloops in a 2 run single. 5-0 good guys.

The last two days made it seem like a catch would be made.

Oh really?

Fister had a nice outing today! 7 innings, 4H, 2BB, 5SO. No runs.
Hope the boys get him the win.

I didn't know one could do that.
Cool.
-
Woo-hoo, Marisnick got a single. 2 for 2 today!!
And now hitting .206.
-
And he scores again on Castro's triple.
I bet watching Jake run those bases was awesome!
-
Springer doubles, now 7-0.
-
Last night makes me sick. We need a shut down closer.
-
Devenski stays in to close it. Will face Davis, Vogt, and Alonso.
-
Astros win.
-
3-3 on the road trip.

I'm not appointing Devenski to that role but he looked good again today. I like his pace and his demeanor. He looks fearless out there. Would like to see him get more work from the 7th on.

His changeup is deadly, drops off the face of the earth.

If he can hit the corners consistently. Until then he's a hard throwing setup man.
