For all those complaining about Luhnow and his moves:

Last 10 starts - Fister has a 2.61 ERA and .685 OPS allowed.

Not too shabby from your 5th starter.

They've been really selective when it comes to major league free agent signings.  And have done quite well.  The Astros have been reluctant to sign expensive veterans which cost tons of cash and draft picks.  And given the sport's crack down on drugs and players showing their age earlier, it's probably best for a team with a limited budget to stay away from them anyways.
