Just great.  I'm in Santa Fe and DBacks games are blacked out here.  Think a VPN from another state university will trick MLB.TV?

As a catcher, I never complain about a wide strike zone.  Even less so with a 5-run lead.

So. Due to family obligations I had to spend game time in a movie theater watching Matt Damon become a space pirate. What do those of you who are well versed in bbg formalities suggest? See the same movie two more times or can another space movie get the job done? I'm willing to do whatever it takes.

I got back from the mandatory party last night about 12:30, fired up the phone with a bit of trepidation, and then looked at it cock-eyed and wondered if ESPN had somehow screwed up and mistakenly entered the score from some football game. I had to dig a little further to determine that, yes, the Astros had in fact cranked out 21 runs. Amazing.

And now the Twins have lost and the Angels are losing (they are literally paying Hamilton to beat them, which is pretty funny), and thinks look a lot more encouraging than they did a couple of days ago. I'm trying to decide if I dare watch tonight's game. If I thought that watching the ND-Clemson game would fuck ND, I'd do that in a heartbeat, but the bad juju will probably ricochet and fuck Clemson instead.
