I'd love it if they could get out of there with a win tonight.  Hopefully they'll get it together back home, and maybe it'll carry over to those last road games.

They can still do it!  Be positive.  And let's not forget that no matter what happens, it's been a hell of a lot fun this year.

Go Astros!!!

Why is Valbuena off the bag there? Couldn't tell if it made a difference though.

Probably just being safe, runner would not have been out.

if Assby likes the rangers so much, he should go work for them.

McCullers with a great job keeping the runner at third. Now get some fucking runs.

Conger, your call a pitch low and away in the dirt and you still don't get down and block? How are you a major league catcher? Fuck

I've really had enough of Conger.  Doesn't even try to get the runner stealing 3rd.  then can't block a pitch and the runner scores.  He can't get enough hits for the runs he gives up.

If Castro was still in this game stubs would not have tried to steal third

I'm questioning Hinch on this one.  Castro was fine.  They weren't going to score him anyway.  And why not put Stassi instead of Conger.

I can't believe how badly they can implode.

I hate that crowd in Arlington.  Entitled bunch of asshats.

This stretch of absolute futility is to be expected from a young and highly imperfect offense I suppose, but god damn is it boring.

A guy who has no chance at throwing out a runner cannot be a major league catcher.

How much worse would the team be with Conger as DH and Gattis as catcher? Or how much better?

The Rangers are just mocking the Astros' ineptitude.

Sparks says he hopes this makes the team think as they head home, and get mad. He is of the opinion that they have been playing tentative this series.

I've only got radio access. Is that how it has looked for his series?

Brownie or Ass made a comment earlier that the pitchers weren't throwing many breaking pitches, it was one thing McCullers was doing.  I can see them not throwing anything but a fastball to Conger.  I don't think he can catch anything that isn't in a straight line, and sometimes not even that.

The strike outs are down, which can also make you think they aren't taking aggressive at-bats.

So, not surprising, I rather agree with Sparks.

I have stayed out of the zone all year for good luck but I figure maybe if I join the luck will change now. It's been a fun year but I hate the Rangers.

I suck and I could have hit the final out harder than Conger did.

Maybe it's time for a table-flipping rampage... what is there to lose? Screaming at a team that's already tight usually just makes them tighter, but at this point I don't think there's anything Hinch could do to make this worse short of going nuts and stabbing somebody...

Lunhow has done a lot of good things but the Conger trade is a head scratcher. I don't believe he could throw out Tony Eusebio if Eusebio waited until he caught the ball to take off for 2nd. Think the Halos would give us Topeano back for him?

Gattis 23% at throwing out runners.

I'm imagining there would be even more passed balls and wild pitches, if that's possible.
