Rangers plate one run on a couple of seeing eye ground balls and a bloop. Runners at the corner, 1 out
-
3-run homer makes it 4-0 Rangers, one out in the 1st
-
Well that wasn't how it was supposed to go at all.
-
Marwin jams his hand again on the dive. Expect him to leave the game at some point.
-
Odor with a 2-run homer...6-0 and Keuchel getting pummeled.
-
B1:
Deshields with an infield single...nice play in the hole by Correa, but can't get the speedy Deshields
Choo bloops one over the SS, Deshields to 2B

Fielder grounds a singles to RF, Deshields score, Choo to 3B

-
T2:

Choo grounds out 6-3
Beltre strikes out swinging

-
I think every Astro hitter so far has taken center-cut fastball for strike one.
-
T3:
Conger singles to CF
Marisnick flies out F9
Springer doubles down the left field line, but Conger is running in quick sand and is thrown out easily at 3B...so it's only ruled a single
Altuve flies out F8
6-0 Rangers
-
Napoli hosing someone at 3rd-- the reckoning is here

Fielder with a leadoff homer. Keuchel throwing puss. I'd get him out of there and let someone else take a beating
-
I don't get Root. I live within the Rangers blackout zone. The 95% of the Astros games I've seen this year have been against the fucking rangers. I want to vomit from the bottom of my feet. Everything they do turns to gold. Everything we do is a wet turd.
-
B3:
Fielder homers to RF
Napoli flies out F9
Moreland grounds out 6-3 with the shift
Andrus grounds out 6-3, as Correa bobble it, but makes the recovery and throw
7-0 after three

Blackout zone?
-
When a game is on the mlb network, it's blacked out. Only the tbs/espn games have been viewable.

You not get FSSW either?
-
T4:
Correa flies out F9
Gattis lines a single into LF
Rasmus singles to LF, Gattis to 2B
Carter grounds the first pitch into 6-4-3 double play
7-0 Rangers
-
I get the rangers on fssw. I can see every rangers game i can stomach. When they happen to play the Astros, i can watch that game too. But if the Astros are playing the angels on mlb, no dice. Blacked out.
The poorly made point on my part was the vast majority of astros games I've seen this year have been the turdpiles they've thrown up against the rangers.
-
B4:
Duffy in at 3B for Marwin
Odor pops out F5, Duffy's first play in the Bigs
Wilson strikes out swinging, 2-3 on the putout
Deshields strikes out swinging
7-0 Rangers
-
T5:
Duffy, who came in the game for Marwin...with his first Big League at bat...grounds out 6-3
Conger strikes out looking
Marisnick singles to CF
Springer with a swinging bunt, out 1-3
7-0 Rangers
-
Spin, crash and burn.
-
Keuchel mercifully taken out of this game.
-
There goes the 6+ innings streak.
-
B5:
Choo hits one to where the SS should be, but with the shift, no one is there, and Choo hustles all the way into 2B for a double on what should have been an easy out
Wild pitch sends Choo to 3B, as Conger half-asses an attempt to stop the pitch
Beltre...infield in...punchs one past Correa, Choo scores
Fielder strikes out swinging
Napoli punches a little slow roller right to where the second baseman should be, an easy double play...but the shift...Altuve is able to run it down before it gets to the grass, but it's a single and Beltre to 2B
Venable to run for Napoli
Moreland pops out F6...IFR in effect
Andrus bounces one up the middle, Keuchel lets it go, but it goes past a diving Altuve into CF, Beltre scores, Venable to 2B
That's it for Keuchel...Feliz in
Odor hit by the first pitch, bases loaded
Wilson grounds into FC, Odor out 6-4
9-0 Rangers after five
-
Over/under on the Rangers getting into the teens?
-
That closes the book on Keuchel...
4.2 innings
11 hits
9 runs, all earned
0 walks
5 Ks
3 HRs
-
Over/under on the Rangers getting into the teens?

Oh, can I feel your pain. At least when we were still in the NL, I could catch a few games on tv sometimes.
Why do we always play like this against the stRangers? Chrissakes.
-
I guess that's be 12
Ding! Ding! Ding!
-
Christ on a crutch.
-
B6:
Deshields flies out F8
Choo walks
Beltre walks, Choo to 2B
Fielder homers to RCF, Choo scores, Beltre scores
Venable strikes out swinging
Moreland flies out F8
12-1 Rangers
-
I guess everyone is watching the debate.
-
I guess everyone is watching the debate.
The debate is even more of a train wreck than this game, as far as I'm concerned. And I'm a Republican.
-
T7:
Marisnick flies out F7
Springer bounces out 5-3
Villar, pinch hitting for Altuve, grounds out 5-3
12-1 Rangers
-
Get in the fucking box Deshields. It's a fucking 14-1 blowout in the 7th, and you're fucking arguing a clear strike.
-
So Keuchel has the worst start of his career in the biggest game of his career so far...
-

It's a hell of a lot more emtertaining than the game, that's for sure.
Trump is going to win the nomination and then get his ass kicked by an 80 year old Jewish socialist.
-
I don't believe in reading too much into whether a game shows that a team has what it takes to get to the playoffs and be successful there. But there's nothing good to take away from this game.

That's funny, but not ha-ha funny.
-
B7:
Andrus flies out F7
Odor singles to LF
Wilson homers to RF, his first of the year, Odor scores
Deshields flaps his ass then grounds out 5-3
Choo singles to RF
Beltre singles to LF, Choo to 2B
Strom chewing Feliz out
Fielder flies out F7
14-1 Rangers
-

I'm encouraged by a couple of Carter's swings the last few nights.

It's more like the last dozen games that have me worried.
-
That's funny, but not ha-ha funny.
Pretty much like every ass clown on this stage. Actually I don't think Kasich qualifies as an ass clown. Which is why he's wasting his time unless he's angling for a show on MSNBC.
The fact that the Rangers are going to score 23 runs is not illustrative of what I've been talking about. It's that the Astros are going to score one.
-
I saw maybe a dozen ballgames at old Arlington Stadium when I was a kid in the 80s and the Rangers were in powder blue. There was something lovable about those fucked up clubs, and hey, they were in the American League! It wasn't really baseball, anyway. I've carried residual goodwill for the Rangers through the years. And hey, they were never as noxious as other Dallas teams.
The drunkish lady in the cowboy hat behind home plate may be the last straw. They can all go to hell. Every last one.
-
Gattis!!!
2-run dinger cuts the lead to 11
-
I'm encouraged by a couple of Carter's swings the last few nights.
Carter almost looks like he has half a clue.
Of course as I mentioned I've been watching the debate so my perspective is carnival mirror skewed.
I meant to say three runs.
-
Strom chewing Feliz out
Way to go, Einstein...
Because clearly this team's problem is its total lackadaisical attitude and not the fact that they're pressing so hard that their fucking eyeballs are about to burst.
Throwing a tantrum and showing up your player in public ought to clear that right up...
-
T8:
Faulkner in for the Rangers
Valbuena, pinch hitting for Correa, walks
Gattis homers to LF, Valbuena scores
Rasmus flies out F7
Carter strikes out swinging
Duffy strikes out swinging
14-3 Rangers
-
Interesting stat...in the National League, six teams have been mathematically eliminated. In the AL?...zero.
-
B8:
Venable grounds out 4-3
Moreland grounds out 4-3
Andrus grounds out 5-3
14-3
-
Luke Jackson looks like Peppermint Patty
-
T9:
Jackson on the hill..wearing one blue shoe and one white shoe
Stassi...full count... strikes out looking at a fastball right down the pipe, not sure what he was waiting for
Marisnick grounds out 6-3
Tucker strikes out swinging
14-3 is the final. Brutal
-
And now DeShields is going to complain because they won't get to hit in the bottom of the 9th...
