-
Tucker with a two out jack. 1-0 Good Guys.
Presto!
-
Ash and Blummer absolutely flummoxed by the idea that if you score first you are more likely to win.
-
Here we go again with McHugh.
-
Three run jack for CarGo. 3-1 Rox
-
Here we go again with McHugh.
Good lord. Come on McHugh, why are you giving him anything he can even kinda hit 0-2? That was fucking terrible.
-
Gonzales has been on fire.
-
Wow Carter. Wow.
-
Does McHugh have options left?
-
Gonzales has been on fire.
Sparks said it was a hung breaking ball right down the middle
-
Sparks said it was a hung breaking ball right down the middle
Sparks is wrong.
It was about knee high, but it was more of an Aunt Charlene than an Uncle Charlie.
-
Sparks said it was a hung breaking ball right down the middle
It was at his knee on the inside corner. It wasn't a terrible pitch.
-
Does McHugh have options left?
I think so.
-
Sparks is wrong.
It was about knee high, but it was more of an Aunt Charlene than an Uncle Charlie.
And that is the recurring theme with him lately.
-
Sparks said it was a hung breaking ball right down the middle
It was low in the zone and in a bit. It was not a horrible pitch by any means, nor was it really a hanger.

Bah, might as well stare at gameday if the announcer is going to be that wrong.
-
I think so.
He has options left, but he's in his fourth year in the big leagues, so depending on when he was called up in 2012, he may have to clear waivers to be optioned.
-
McHugh with a base hit!
-
Springer with a knock...Astros have two on to start the 3rd...let's keep the line moving
-
Ashby forgets the Astros have a run
Correa grounds to SS, Springer erased 6-4, runners at the corners with and 1 out for Tucker.
-
Tucker with an RBI groundout, as McHugh scores to make it 3-2
-
Correa swipes 3B, and Carter with a single to tie this puppy up!
-

you cannot stop them. you can only hope to contain them.
-
Correa swipes 3B, and Carter with a single to tie this puppy up!
A lot of good things going on here.
-
That's a good inning boys...new ball game. Go throw up another zero
-
Fuck Walt Weiss.
-
Single and a walk...Rox have something working in their half.
-
Fuck Walt Weiss.
This times a million.
I HATE that guy.
-
This one is going to be a high scoring affair.
-
McHugh with a good bender to get Arenado...big out there.
-
His name is Robert Paulsen.
-
Nice work to get out of that jam.
-
T5:
Tucker with a double on a 3-0 pitch drives in Correa...Astros take back the lead 4-3.
Ashby babbling about low humidity being good for your skin.
-
Carter with a double!!! Tucker scores... now 5-3 Astros, still one out.
-
Valbuena singles, Carter had to freeze, so he only makes 3B. But runners at the corner for Castro
-
Castro down on strikes, Marisnick down on strikes, but the Astros score 2...take a 5-3 lead.
-
STOP WALKING PEOPLE, MCHUGH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!
-
McHugh finishes out the 6th. I'm sure that's all for him. Not his best day, but only four hits and three runs in Coors isn't a terrible day,

It seems like all of his decent outings lately have been of the "well it wasn't pretty, but I guess it kind of worked" variety

Is that not enough? If he doesn't throw a 2-hit shutout, he should be sent packing?

Did I say that?
-
In field on Carter? Why? It's either a K or you want to be back.
-
Correa with a double, and steals 3B again. But this time Carter strikes out looking.
-
Hey Luis, you do realize that you can't hit the ones that are on the ground out of the ballpark, right?
-
Carter, Valbuena and Castro have combined for 8 strikesouts...in 7 innings.
-

Why not toss in Marisnick for a cool 10 Ks?
-
Another blue star for Springer! Diving catch on a blooper to RF.
-
Tulowhatthefuck with a single to bring up CarGo with 2 out
-
Ground ball ends the inning
We've played 7...or three hours, depending on how you want to look at it...Astros up 5-3
-
T8:
Castro doubles
Marisnick sac bunt, but comes up limping, grabbing hamstring
-
Marwin walks, and Santana will pinch hit for Sipp...HOME RUN!!!
First ML dinger...Astros go up 8-3
-
Domino motherfucker!
-
Marisnick has to leave the game with hamstring. I'm guessing he's also "day to day".
-
So happy to see the big kid strokin' it!
-
Earlier this season the Stros were pitching great and not hitting. The games were running well under 3 hours. Now the pitching is not so great but the hitting is on fire, and the games are running well over 3 hours. I kinda miss the pitching duels.
-
B8:
Leadoff double, then Neshek gets two punchouts.
Strikes out Barnes twice, for like the fourth time today, but apparently it's against the rules to call him out, so he walks
Single makes it 8-4, still two runners on with 2 out.
-
We've played 8...Stros leading 8-4
-
I think if I could redo my 35 all-star votes, I might vote for Arrenado.
-
Valbuena grabs the Golden Sombrero to end the 9th...the Astros 17th strikeout of the day.
Fields will try to close out the 8-4 lead.
-
1-2-3 9th to secure the win.
Astros sweep two 2-game series, or one 4-game series, depending on who you ask.
-
A hand broom sweep for each hand!
Weird fact I learned today, the Astros hitters are 4th in walks in the AL.
-
12 games over .500.
-
I think if I could redo my 35 all-star votes, I might vote for Arrenado.
I did vote for him.
