Assuming that means DFA for Villar...making room on both the 40 (for Correa) and 25 for Velasquez?

Velasquez can thank McCullers, at least in part, for the promotion.
You have to wonder why Devinski is still at AA - maybe to pad his stats to make him more attractive as a trade piece.

Looking forward to seeing him pitch.  From what little I've seen of VV, and what I've seen from McCullers, Devenski is nowhere in that league.

I also assume Villar, but I wish they would just drop Hernandez also and bring up Singleton.

I'm surprised they didn't opt to keep Buchanan for the pen rather than Hernandez.

I don't know if the rumor that Luhnow is being pressured to acquire an arm is true, but with this move and with the McCullers move, it looks to me that he is gauging just how badly a new arm is needed.  Or similarly, maybe he's trying to show that a blockbuster trade isn't needed and the rotation spots can be filled internally.  Whatever the reasons, I appreciate the moves as it seems sensible to see what you got before you go out into the market.

Devenski isn't on the 40-man.  That's probably a big part of why.

I really like Devenski, always have.  But I don't think he's the type to skip AAA
