Nice to see Castro.

I'm surprised not to see Rasmus in the lineup against a RHer.

Nice quick 1st for McCullers. 9 pitches, all of them strikes and a couple of punch outs.

I wanna see a better look at that.  I swear that ball looked foul. There was no chalk flying, so if it hit the line, it barely scraped the last fair molecule.

One of the things about the tandem was efficiency.  They got up to 5 innings.  But they had about 75 pitches to get there.

Was that the usual swing with every once he did he take a bit off it?

I couldn't tell, not streaming too well today and a full half inning behind.

He swung pretty hard. But it was a big time hanging slider...musta looked like a watermelon coming at him.

Karter can make his HRs look easy but damn until he gets his stroke he sucks.  That drives me nuts about him, how long do you have to go in a season before that stroke comes?

I don't find 72 strike outs funny,  I'll make a deal with you for this season though, when he gets his batting average over his weight (.250) then I'll spell his name correctly for however long he keeps it there.

And I have no clue the Carmondez reference and I haven't cared enough to figure it out.

The point of someone like Carter is not to see if he can get his AVG over .250. Sure, it would be nice, but he can hit .230 and strikeout 180 times and still be a really productive hitter.

Our Roberto Hernandez was known as Fausto Carmona when he first made his splash with the Indians circa 2007-10. False identity.
