One of my favorite players, the great Minnie Minoso, has died (http://chicago.suntimes.com/news/7/71/405104/white-sox-great-minnie-minoso-passes-away).

Hasn't been a great month or so for Chicago baseball icons.

Minoso broke the color barrier in Chicago in 1951, two years before Banks did so for the Cubs.  Chicago loses both of their guys in a couple months.  There's only a couple of those "firsts" guys left.
