I'm nervous we'll end up in Colorado Springs, not a good place to be (everyone's last choice -- even the Rockies want to leave), although we hope it's only temporary (four years). Still, again gives me the feeling of bottom feeding, taking what's left, and the lack of an immediate plan. Hope to be in RR (or New Orleans) soon.

Our pitchers basically are limited to Rookie, Low A, and AA? That blows.
Is Colorado Springs as bad as Lancaster?

If they end up in CS, the sky is not falling.

The Fresno Bee says the Astros will be affiliating with Fresno. www.fresnobee.com.

Outstanding. Subnuclear will be able to supply travel tips.

Yes, Fresno's not the greatest place in the world, but it seems much better for development purposes.

That's right, sorry. DAS will do the travel guide.

Fresno? Fres-yes!! (as the locals will tell you)

Club Fred used to be OK, but I think it's gone now.

There's more info on this in the Bus Ride thread (http://www.spikesnstars.com/forums/index.php?topic=117179.0).

Absolutely. The travel guide will include helpful hints on minimalist wicking clothing and pointy cowboy boots. Lots of pointy cowboy boots.

Isn't it supposed to be hot as hell there?

Yes.

There are two CostCos in the same area. If you try to go to one, you'll end up at the other.

Point of Order: Isn't "triple aaa" actually "Nine-A", or "AAAAAAAAA"?

Of course; don't you know about 9-A? It's where the 4-A guys eventually end up if they're really, really good.

Eh, take the lift down to the ground floor and stick it in your boot.

I may have mentioned this before...my sister used to live in a block of flats in London, which had an elevator installed by the Schindler company. Of course, it was forever known as "Schindler's Lift".
