Watching the Dodgers/Nats game and the stands look every bit as empty as MMP. Don't know if it's just a day game thing, or the TV deal thing, but that's ugly for a playoff bound team in that market.
-
Dodgers attendance this year: 3,179,516
Nationals attendance this year: 2,179,163
Astros attendance this year: 1,568,646
I'm surprised the Nats attendance hasn't been better. The weather has been great this summer.

I watched the Dodgers game last night and noticed that it wasn't as full as it might have been. All summer long it's been basically sold out. I assume it's the school year.
On another note my mom's visiting me now. We were watching the Dodgers game as I mentioned and after about four innings she turned to me with a surprised look on her face and said, He's talking about baseball - he hasn't said anything about food.

Yeah, right after my post, Scully said that the attendance was 38K but everyone had left and he could hear individual conversations.

That dude looks fantastic for a WWII Marine pilot.

I've got the Yankees and Red Sox on right now, and McCann just to took a direct hit in the boy parts on a foul tip. The pain was obviously intense, as I can well imagine.
-
Pretty bad ass play by Dominguez there.
-
Timely hit by Castro.
-
McHugh done, 7 2/3, 4 hits, 1 run unearned, 8 Ks, no walks.
-
2-1 bottom of the eight, I would like to see some insurance runs.

Impressive wins. The road trip could be interesting.

Great job by McHugh getting out of the third after being torpedoed by Villar.
