All day I've thought that tonight there was no game.  I am so thrilled to see that the series with the A's is already starting.  That's just the best.

The throw from keykay looked on target for about half the journey, the guy should be pitching if he can get that much movement on a ball.

At Nationals park, they limit you to two hot dogs per order and they only have a few stands serving hot dogs, so the lines get super long.

OutSTANding question. For some reason I get no commercials watching via the Roku. Today I'm watching on a tablet and after every inning I have to mute the volume because there's some commercial with a slow motion bullet shattering various cocktail glasses. I'm still not sure what they're selling and with any luck I'll never know. But it's annoying to have to turn the volume down.

This guy Howard Chen sounds like a lesbian.

The worst, though, as far as I'm concerned, is the outrageous and obnoxious commercials some airlines subject passengers to while they're sitting captured in their seats. That is fucking insidious.

That's a pretty sweet looking ride, isn't it? I had it muted, of course, but the aerial view of London caught my attention and I saw the car. I'm relieved that the reality of the situation here is such that I would never be tempted to buy a car like that.

Every now and then I see some goon driving around in a Maserati or a Ferrari or something like that and I think, Man, you must drive down different streets than I do. Plus, I have idiots clip my side-view mirrors all the time. As long as they don't shatter the glass I enjoy rolling down the window and insulting them loudly. Fortunately traffic is generally at a virtual standstill so I have plenty of time to share my remarks. But fuck, if I were tooling around in a Quattroporte I might actually get agitated.

I have an X-Trail which are unknown in the US but reasonably common in Australia as you know. They're ubiquitous here which is one reason I bought it. I figured I ran a pretty good chance of finding someone who could repair it. Happily all I've ever had to have done is a little body work. I'm considering an upgrade. I don't really need to upgrade. But I find myself wanting a few small things here and there that the car doesn't offer. But I surely won't be buying a Jaguar.

You guys can be nervous nellies sometimes, this one was in the bag all the way.

A young girl in son's circle of friends got a brand new X-Trail a few weeks ago, everyone calls it the entrails and she gets mad as hell.

I'm really hoping someone in your immediate circle drives a Holden ute.

That was a nice win, we don't see offence and defence showing up at the same time too often.

I never think that either, but I figure at least the other recappers read them.  And I pretty much agree on Luhnow.

Ditto. Those of us who believe the FO are generally making the right decisions do so because we kind of have to, to avoid letting this team drive us completely over the edge. And since no one really has access to enough facts to conclusively prove otherwise, it works out. Nice job, BG.
