How is this Stefen Romero, who I've never ever heard of, batting ahead of Kyle Seager, who's an established MLB hitter with 25 HR, 90 RBI talent? Never heard of their leadoff hitter either for that matter.

Dominguez is the DH and Marvin starts at third. What's up with that?

Never ending. Altuve "forgets" that he had to retouch second before going back to first on Castro's long out to left.  How does a major league player make that mistake?

Jose would have been about guy on this team I would have picked to make a bone head move like that, it baffled the radio guys for a while.

This is not the first time Porter has done this.

I hadn't realized that. I understand Marwin at third, but not Dominguez at DH. Or, if they are both in the lineup, just switch them and get the benefit of Dominguez glove.

Porter may believe MD needs to rest a little. Or  maybe he thinks Marwin needs to get some time on-field to keep his fielding sharp. Maybe MD has a little injury but I haven't heard that.

Keuchel won't ever be an ace but he has something out there.

Marwin needing some time on-field was the radio guys explanation.

Yeah, nice to see both him and Obie make the most of their ability.

Making better contact so far, but nothing to show for it.

Seattle sure looks nice on that view.

Three hits so far, a dribbler, a deflection and one sharply hit ball.

Almonte as a hole in his glove.

That's some kickass managing right there.  Who'd have thought?

It apparently does.  My apologies for questioning that one.

It's not like I've questioned it (http://www.spikesnstars.com/2014/04/08/its-all-cosarts-fault/) before.

Lucky 2-run double for Almonte. Damn these accursed barnacle-gorvelers! 2-2 now.

George didn't seem  to get much of a line on the ball in right.

Keuchel dominated the lefties that inning. He can always be a lefty specialist if the starting gig doesn't work.

Astros caught a huge fuckin break there.

I hate it when managers put the bunt on after a leadoff double. Especially with a good hitter at the plate.

Astros sent 8 men to the plate that inning, plating 4.
About freakin' time.

Well done, boys.

Didn't realize Keuchel had thrown 113 pitches. He didn't really look tired, though. I just wish Bo didn't seem so allergic to letting his starters go more than 6 IP when they're cruising.

Phwew. Zunino crushed a ball, wayyyy deep and OVER the LF foul pole, called foul, M's challenge, replay umps rule foul, then Zunino Ks swinging on the next pitch.

And it ends up a 1-2-3 inning with 2 K's. Porter is brilliant!

I know this is really selfish but these games are great for me.  I can do whatever needs doing early in the morning, start watching a little after 10 AM and have some lunch in the later stages.  And I have most of the afternoon for work, rest or play, life is good sometimes.

Marwin needing some time on-field was the radio guys explanation.

I don't disagree with that move. Marwin deserved another start after sunday's game.
