I know, different positions, but I'm guessing Springer is good enough defensively to play DH any time they'd like him to. Just sayin'...

Just tuned in. Seems like the Royals are seeing it well off Harrell and Ventura looks pretty tough, but don't they all.

Harrell's been mixed, with some crummy Grossman defense. Ventura has had some control problems, but throws smoke.

I've only been half-watching the last few innings, but it seems Paul Clemens has thrown 3 scoreless, so I assume he's pitched well?

Been efficient and getting flies and ground outs. Looks good.

Called out on a pitch letter-high AND inside. I respect that he doesn't ever really whine or show up umpires, but damn it, man, at least show some displeasure or say something to them on shit calls like that.

Strike 2 call on Grossman was a curve outside and almost in the dirt. Hard to miss those from a RHP to a LH batter. Horrible. WHo is this asshole ump?
