I still hate Nick Swisher.

3 singles load the bases with no outs. Then Wallace takes an 0-2 fastball almost down the heart of the plate, shakes his head in disbelief at the K call.

Hoes rips a sac fly to deep RF. 1-1 game.

Cody Clark figures desperate times call for desperate measures, so he drops a nice but not quite nice enough bunt down the 3B line and is thrown out by the pitcher, Jimenez, for the 3rd out.

1-1, middle 2nd.

Why in the FUCK would a catcher bunt with a runner on third and two outs? I simply cannot believe the shit I see this team do. I can't imagine what I've missed in the 120 games I've managed not to watch.

When you're batting .039, who knows what kind of thoughts go through your head.

Ashby blurted out "As-dribble" after Cabrera dribbled an infield base hit last inning; Blum quipped "nice pronunciation there" and continued to send clues that Ash almost turned Asdrubal into the completely-obvious-to-anyone-with-a-sense-of-humor variant, Ass-dribble. But Ash clearly had no clue, and kept saying "As-dribble" over and over.

Five through three frames.
HPU has an abysmal strike zone tonight.

I wonder if Ubaldo ever found his little license plate.

Hoes was bound and determined to get himself out on the bases this inning.

It seems to me that a good defensive strategy for Astros opponents would be to put them on base.

And now Villar is somehow still surprised that HPU has a huge-ass strike zone, K's looking for the 3rd straight time.

I really hope that Springer, with all his speed and ability, has some goddam sense when he's running the bases.

Meanwhile, Keuchel is quietly tossing a very nice game. Through 6, 1 run, no walks, 7 K's.

I wonder what the broadcast deal is for MLB?  I wonder if you could sell to a local broadcast station that then turned around and broadcast everything over the internet, like radio stations do?  That's surely get them back on to cable.

Does Keuchel come back for the 8th?

I sure hope he doesn't do any stupid base running.

This night is beginning to look like a perfect storm of suck: the Astros are likely to lose, the Rangers are winning, Boston is beating TB, and I'm up against Sphinx in FFL, who has the KC defense against Philly. They've recoved a fumble, picked off two passes and returned one for a TD, and they've sacked Vick about 13 bazillion times. And my lead RB, LeSean McCoy, just left with what looks like a serious injury.

Nice to see Rhiner walk the guy who's on an 0-for-21 streak so that he can put the winning run on 3rd and pitch to a guy who's bating .750.
