+/- 12 K's for Ubaldo?

+/- 12 K's for Ubaldo?
Yes.
-
It's a wonder that nobody has no hit their mopey asses this year.

It's a wonder that nobody has no hit their mopey asses this year.
There's still time.
-
I still hate Nick Swisher.
-
3 singles load the bases with no outs. Then Wallace takes an 0-2 fastball almost down the heart of the plate, shakes his head in disbelief at the K call.
-
Hoes rips a sac fly to deep RF. 1-1 game.
-
Cody Clark figures desperate times call for desperate measures, so he drops a nice but not quite nice enough bunt down the 3B line and is thrown out by the pitcher, Jimenez, for the 3rd out.
1-1, middle 2nd.
-
Why in the FUCK would a catcher bunt with a runner on third and two outs? I simply cannot believe the shit I see this team do. I can't imagine what I've missed in the 120 games I've managed not to watch.

When you're batting .039, who knows what kind of thoughts go through your head.

Ashby blurted out "As-dribble" after Cabrera dribbled an infield base hit last inning; Blum quipped "nice pronunciation there" and continued to send clues that Ash almost turned Asdrubal into the completely-obvious-to-anyone-with-a-sense-of-humor variant, Ass-dribble. But Ash clearly had no clue, and kept saying "As-dribble" over and over.

+/- 12 K's for Ubaldo?
Five through three frames.
-
Five through three frames.
HPU has an abysmal strike zone tonight.
-
Five through three frames.
7 through 4.
-
I wonder if Ubaldo ever found his little license plate.
-
Hoes was bound and determined to get himself out on the bases this inning.
-
It seems to me that a good defensive strategy for Astros opponents would be to put them on base.
-
And now Villar is somehow still surprised that HPU has a huge-ass strike zone, K's looking for the 3rd straight time.

I really hope that Springer, with all his speed and ability, has some goddam sense when he's running the bases.
-
+/- 10 Ks for Keuchel? He's pitching a nice game.
-
Meanwhile, Keuchel is quietly tossing a very nice game. Through 6, 1 run, no walks, 7 K's.
-
+/- 10 Ks for Keuchel? He's pitching a nice game.
Ah, you beat me to it.
-
It was worth saying though.
-
I wonder what the broadcast deal is for MLB? I wonder if you could sell to a local broadcast station that then turned around and broadcast everything over the internet, like radio stations do? That's surely get them back on to cable.
-
Does Keuchel come back for the 8th?
-
Clark gets his 2d MLB hit.
I sure hope he doesn't do any stupid base running.
-
Man, I'm glad that Bourn guy doesn't play for Houston. He's a strikeout machine.
-
Chapman B8, 2 singles, 3Ks.
-
T9, one out, Krauss doubles, Dominguez put on base hbp. Carter up. No Ks tonight.
-
Carter walks, bases loaded.
-
Fuck Wallace.
-
That was disappointing. Go Hoes, I guess.
-
Fuck Wallace.
Talk about getting fooled.
-
Dammit.
-
Boo.
-
That makes me sad.
-
Boo.
At least Hoes didn't K 4 times tonight.
-
Both of those at-bats were outstanding in their terribleness.
-
At least Hoes didn't K 4 times tonight.
Nothing against Hoes. Just couldn't work up the energy for a proper swear word.

This night is beginning to look like a perfect storm of suck: the Astros are likely to lose, the Rangers are winning, Boston is beating TB, and I'm up against Sphinx in FFL, who has the KC defense against Philly. They've recoved a fumble, picked off two passes and returned one for a TD, and they've sacked Vick about 13 bazillion times. And my lead RB, LeSean McCoy, just left with what looks like a serious injury.
-
Jason Giambi is still playing? Wow.
-
Brantley caught stealing. Apparently a good throw by Clark.
-
Jason Giambi is still playing? Wow.
His defense apparently isn't what it once was.
-
On to the 10th.
-
The Cleveland radio guys are explaining the double switch.
-
Cody Clark's had a better night than Wallace.
-
Fuck.
-
It's almost like the Astros are trying to lose.
-
What the fuck is going on with the baserunning? Presumably these guys have been playing for a few years and ought to understand the basics.

Pitching's improved. You gotta lose somehow.

Boston beat Baltimore. The rangers are beating TB.
I hope I didn't make your night worse. Go Stros!
-
That magic pixie dust Crowe had for a week or two there might have worn off.

Yeah, thanks, I got confused in my misery. I think I've bottomed out.

Astros haven't lost yet.
-
Astros haven't lost yet.
McCoy is back so that has to count for something.
-
McCoy is back so that has to count for something.
Yeah, I was surprised by that.
-
There we go.
-
Astros haven't lost yet.
Now you can go be miserable.
-
Nice to see Rhiner walk the guy who's on an 0-for-21 streak so that he can put the winning run on 3rd and pitch to a guy who's bating .750.

You gotta pick your battles.

Now you can go be miserable.
I'm really miserable when I'm not miserable.
-
I wonder what has happened to attendance in Cleveland. Last nite was less than 20 and apparantly it's been poor all year. They used to sell-out every game.

Mr. Happy takes you from smooth sophistication to Archie Bell in a few lines (http://www.spikesnstars.com/2013/09/20/mrs-happy-2-mr-happy-1-in-11-innings/).
