Looks like the whole original cast is back, plus Kristen Wiig and Harrison Ford. WTF? (http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2013/mar/05/harrison-ford-signs-up-for-anchorman-sequel)

Anchorman quiz: finish the quotes (http://www.theguardian.com/film/filmblog/quiz/2013/dec/10/anchorman-quiz-complete-quotes).
I, of course, scored 10 out of 10.

what a lay-up that was. I must say, the first time I watched Anchorman, I thought it was the dumbest movie ever made. Then, for some reason, I watched it again, and it was like a whole new world opened up. I could not believe how I could possibly miss such comedic genius the first time around. There is hardly a week go by that I don't tell someone..."It's science", or "60% of the time, it works every time"...I mean, there are just so many common applications of the Anchorman one-liners. Really a life changing movie.

I had exactly the same experience. I watched it the first time in disbelief that Will Farrell - a man who makes me laugh just by doing nothing - could've made such a clunker. Of course, since then...

I'm a little annoyed that the trailers are starting to divulge big plot points. I get that it's a Will Ferrell comedy, not a Chrisopher Nolan film, but jeez, I like a little surprise.

Just seeing your Avatar, GBB, and thinking of the enormous ad campaign associated with this movie, I can't help but wonder if we're dealing with an Airplane 2 equivalent, as in still entertaining but not nearly on the same level and get as many to the theatre as quickly as possible before word of mouth kills it.

Hangover 2?

He's already made a number of sequels, they're just different sets of characters.
And in the spirit of the season, I'd just note that I too like the Christmas Jesus best.

Me too. My least favorite is Jesus singing lead vocal for Lynyrd Skynyrd.

While I appreciate the aesthetics, I can't abandon the constitutionally mandated separation of church and rock and roll.

Except of course for that whole Spirit in the Sky thing. That was great.

Does the wheel in the sky in fact keep on turning?
