Title: My Mother

This has not been my best year. My Mother died at 1:35 AM Monday. She was 91 and has been in the throes of dementia for a couple of years so her death is in the blessing category. Her funeral is tomorrow at 2 PM.

She raised a fine son, Mr. Raup. That is a fine tribute to her life. May you find peace in her memory.

My condolences Jim.  Even when the final release is a blessing, it's always tough to go through.

I am sorry for your loss. My mother is in some early stages of dementia. It is a sad journey. May your mother rest in peace.

If it wasn't such a sad occasion, I'd be tempted to say something like, "Shit! There's two of you?"

Anyway, you have my deepest sympathies. Nothing quite like a good mom.

The best way to cope with the inevitable loss of those that came before us is to forge strong bonds with those that came after.  From what I've read here, you've excelled at that.  Condolences.

My condolences Coach.  Just lost my mom at age 67 this year as well.  She started suffering from early onset demetia bacik in January and passed away in May.  2012 has been tough...

I've attended more funerals this year than the rest of my life combined...lost my Mom and my wife's Grandmother

At work my Maintenance Manager, HR Manager, Production Manager, and Production Supervisor all had either a parent or spouse pass away.
