On break from History of Criminal Justice. No score yet, I see.

Harrell's command tonight is shaky, I guess. Four walks and five hits allowed through three innings. It's a wonder that the Terdinals don't have more than two runs.

How about THAT defensive gem by Altuve to end the bases loaded threat in T5!!!  (Its okay Mr. Happy, you can say something nice about the kid's D, no one will hold it against you!!!).  Middle 5: FTC(ards) 2, HOU 0

Tonight must be "bend but don't break night" at the yard, because Harrell has given up seven hits and six walks through five innings of work (88 pitches and only 45 of them strikes) but only two runs.

I will say something about Altuve's defense, and what I have to say is positive: it has been much better in the second half of the season. He has plus range. He just needed to work on the routine plays a bit.

I miss my friend, Ron Brand, tonight, as his asshole bosses have muted his presence here tonight. A pox on their houses!!!

I would've said 'just needs to mature out of some of the brain farts' instead, but we're on the same page here (kinda 6 one way, half a dozen another...).

I agree with that too. He's capable of making some heads-up plays, but he's also shown some poor decision-making. But that'll come with time. He's going to be a very good player for a long time.

Ambriz making a mess. 3-0 with runners on the corners and only one out.

This "scout" thing on mlb.com gameday is nonsense. It just noted that Altuve hit behind Downs in the order, which is wrong. Altuve led off, and Downs hit fifth.

Kelly tosses a ten pitch ninth against our three-four-five to seal the win for Garcia. Harrell drops to 10-11.
