DoRay were chirping earlier about the need for Lyles to get comfortable with a third and fourth pitch, then saying that Norris needed it too.

How did they fit 'that much' conversation in between all their FTC love?!?

It was another side of them, the one where they preach about what's wrong and tell us how to fix it.

And in the coffee shop I'm in, The Only Band That Matters is now playing. An omen? Perhaps.

0-0 bottom 3, but the Astros have runners on the corners.

Motorhead for me - but speaking of The Beatles, does anyone else think it is ??? something ??? that they have a 20 to 30 year old photo to promote the Paul McCartney concert?  Isn’t that false advertising?

The one I've seen is current. I don't know if he wears a rug or not, but certainly he dyes his hair.

I saw him in, I think, 2005 and his voice was remarkably good. As you'd expect, it was a hell of a show. It's a pretty special feeling to sing "Hey Jude" with Paul McCartney. Even if there are 10,000 other people helping.

Oh, how sweet is that?!? Starlin Castro neglects to bust his hump down the line from 3rd on a sac fly, and fails to cross home before the trailing runner is thrown out trying to advance to 3rd (great throw by Maxwell).

Wow, nice!!!  FTC have runners on 2B and 3B with 1 out, fly ball hit to CF, Castros at 3B tags as does runner at 2B. Maxwell catches in CF and gets the runner tagging from 2B at 3B before Castro (not hustling down the line) crosses home (i.e. inning ending DP w/out run scored).  Middle 6: FTC 0, HOU 1

Castro is a hell of a talent, but just like all the other talented players they've had in the last 20 or so years, they have glaring flaws. He and the FTC deserve each other.

He's a fuck-up, without a doubt. But what was the other guy thinking trying to advance on a fly to medium center? I can only assume that he assumed that the throw would go home and he never bothered to confirm that assumption. If he just stands on second, they get a run.

Ya know... I'm as pissed off as anyone (maybe more) about the Astros being forced into the AL West... but... you have to admit it will be nice to no longer have FTC fans coming to MMPUS 3-4 times a season... (I know, BOS fans are almost as annoying, but at least they are not FTC or Jake fans...).

Another beautiful Starlin Castro moment: groundball, scoops it, drops it, picks it up, drops it again, no play on the runner 10 feet away sliding into 2nd.

They've got to be thrilled that they signed him to that 7-year extension.

The cubs ability lose is even greater than the Astros'. A beautiful thing to behold.

Committing 4 errors and not giving up a run. Amazing.
