Title: Horns Network
Post by: Bench on August 31, 2012, 11:07:06 am
I've seen some reports that the Longhorn Network got picked up by U-Verse - channel 609 (1609 for HD).  If true, that'll be music to to Musicman's ears.

Well, I sure hope that puts some pressure on Time Warner.

Man, prison suit orange UT (the original Big Orange, fwiw) is lookin' Johnny Majors era good so far. I've hated the Dols for most of my life, but this is something else. No love for the Wolfpuppies or their A-She-She conference.

Congratulations. I'm thinking I'll never get it on DTV.

I had an interesting conversation with an ESPN muckity muck and he feels a lot is going to hinge on AT&T getting positive traction on adding LHN (by way of sign-ups).  Is it staying on the U200 level after the next couple of weeks?  Lots of chatter that it moves to U450 shortly.

Anybody watching the gatorpukes? Man, if Muschump's boys don't start getting it together quickly, ol' Will's gonna become an assistant coach in waiting.

Edit to amend the god-damned auto correct and stuff.

No worries.  UF's offense will look MUCH better next Saturday.

They are on the basic tier in Texas, and the U450 package outside Texas.

You're asking new OC Pease to work a miracle.

I think the two Big 12 formers stand an excellent chance of exposing the SEC's middle. There's little or no questioning of the SEC's top three, but with USC's propensity to lose big games, Georgia's consistent inconsistency, Auburn's puzzling play, and Florida's decline into mediocrity, the so-called greatness of the conference has to be proven once more.  Is Tennessee the dark horse to challenge? If Clemson is indeed strong, then Auburn may be a heel biter, too, like the Vols appear to be.

On the other hand, I've watched A&M football for long enough to know that if there are any expectations, the Aggies will fall somewhere below them.  Driskell will strike a Heisman pose at some point Saturday.

Well, that's the next-to-last thing that I expected to see.
