No TV tomorrow. I'd sign up for pbp but I'll be working, like I am tonight.

Paredes ith a penceian swing there for the sac fly

That's it for Zito and me, I gotta work.

Snyder takes it to 3-2 on a wicked slider
Then a fly ball to right.. 2 down

Marwin with a pretty weak cut on the 2nd strike and 3rd strike for 3 outs
Wallace almost caught napping on 2nd
Nice to see Wallace picking it up recently

-
Top 4,
Pence at the dish.
Harder to throw him an off the plate slider as a left-hander
Deep drive to right but Parades robs him at the wall

Did you see that heat chart on him from McCoveychronicles? He's been swinging and missing on stuff up and away now. Crazy.
-
Barnes to lead off the bottom of the 4th
Swinging strikeout. 1 out
-

I did not but hopefully the Astros staff did..
-
Kuechel watches strike 3 for 2 outs.
-
Altuve to start the 2-out rally
Not to be. Line out to Scuddero (sp?) at 2nd.
Going to the top of the 5th, Giants up 4-3
-
Sorry it's Scutaro
-
Puegero pops out to 1st.
Keuchel working quickly which is nice
-
Kontos grounds out to Altuve. 2-out
-
Godless Pagan flys out to left field. 3 outs.
Giants still lead 4-3
-
Green, Wallace, and Parades in the bottom of the 5th

Wallace with a 5 at-bat hitting streak going..
Grounds out 3-1. 2 outs.

Parades first pitch line out to left.
Giants 4-3

-
Scutaro bangs one off the Crawford Boxes..
Martinez almost nails him going into 2nd.
-
Sandoval with a man on 2nd..
Storey warming in the pen
Long at-bat made a little longer by a visit to the mound
-
Pablo walks on a curve that got out of control.
In comes Mr Storey.
Moore coming in for Tyler Greene
-
Storey to face Posey
Pence is on deck
Posey grounds into 5-3 double play. 2-outs
-

Pence with a slow roller to 3rd and beats the throw to first
-
1st and 3rd for arias
First pitch swinging.. off the glove of F. Mart
Sandoval and Pence score
Giants 6-3
-
I don't understand the double-switch here. You've still got to get three outs in this inning, meaning Storey is likely to throw a few pitches and probably won't pitch the 7th anyway, so you could pinch hit for him. But now you're replaced Greene with Moore, which is a serious offensive downgrade given Greene's recent performance. Especially with 3 1/2 innings to go.
So of course, Storey immediately gets a double-play ball, raising the prospect of a short stint for Storey.
And then Moore fucks up the third out with a poor throw. Good job by Wallace to come off the bag and save the ball.
Which is then followed up by the inevitable triple given the bonus opportunity. Nice try in left (Martinez?), but it was not to be.
-
Belt grounds to Altuve. Inning over.
Giants 6-3
-
Mota on the bump to pitch to Martinez, Snyder, Gonazalez
-
I was just about to say maybe I was wrong about Moore being a poor third baseman, and then he fucks up that play. He seems to often let the ball play him, backing up and then having no play or needing to rush his throw, instead of charging the ball.
-
14 years in the league with 2 suspensions..
Just off the latest one.
-
Thanks for doing the play by play.
-
You're welcome.. happy to do it
-
Martinez strikes out on high cheese..
1 out.
-
How did it go?
It was fantastic. But I just spent the last 30 minutes going over my day with my wife, who wanted to know everything of course.
-
Snyder not hitting his weight...
but gets a 4 pitch walk
Marwin up.
-
Gonzalez drops one over the shortstop for a base knock..
Men on 1st and 2nd with one out.
-
Snyder not hitting his weight...
but gets a 4 pitch walk
Marwin up.
And he's not a heavyweight either. His bat has been a real disappointment to me.
-
Barnes shows bunt put pulls it back
then two quick strikes and a ball
Grounds to 3rd. Sandoval bobbles the ball and can only get the out at 2nd.
-
And he's not a heavyweight either. His bat has been a real disappointment to me.
Shit, who would you call a heavyweight if not Snyder?
I thought he'd hit better too though.
-
Mijares on the hill, Moore at the dish
0 for his last 21 according to Brownie
-
Nice curve from Mijares
Moore knocks in Snyder and Barnes goes 1st to 3rd
-
Nice partial redemption for Moore.
-
6-4 Giants
Altuve up with ducks on the pond
-
JD and Brownie talking about Jose going yard
-
Oh god. Altuve walks... bringing up Bogey. Vs a LHP.

JD and Brownie talking about Jose going yard
He's taller than a yard.
-
Is Maxwell's damn finger really THAT bruised?!?
-
Bogey tries to place one on the third base line but ball is foul
bases juiced for Brian
-
Weak strikeout Brian..
6-4 Giants after 6
-
I think I would've rather seen fuckin' Lucas Harrell up there in that situation.
-
Puegero, Pinch hitter, and Pagan due up against Ambriz
-
Shit, who would you call a heavyweight if not Snyder?
I thought he'd hit better too though.
I meant that compared to some people, like yours truly, he's not that heavy at 240 on a 6'4" frame. I'm 6'5" and weigh almost 270.
-
Sorry Peguero is his name.
Struck out but Snyder can't corral the slider and he reaches 1st
-
Gregor Blanco is the pinch hitter
Bunts Peguero to 2nd. 1 out
-
Angel Pagan up
Ambriz working the outside corner
-
Nice pitch gets Pagan looking for strike 3. 2 out.
-
Boo Brownie. "He Ambreezed him"
-
Holy shit that was a beautiful strike 3 by Ambriz, and a nice late shift by Snyder to fool the hitter and/or runner.
-
We were in Colorado for that Giants sweep of the Rockies.
-
Ambriz with some nice pitching on the corners this evening..
-
Another strike 3 called.. Ambriz strikes out the side.
-

-
Come on boys, let's fuck up that bullpen a little.
...okay... maybe next inning.
-
He just can't lay off that slider.. why throw him anything else?
-
Well maybe he can. Pence walks
-
He just can't lay off that slider.. why throw him anything else?
Wow. I'm shocked he laid off that Ball 4 slider.
-
Arias is up, he of the 2 run triple last at-bat.
Ambriz picked him off.. HBP.
Men on 1st and 2nd, 2 outs.
-
Wow. I'm shocked he laid off that Ball 4 slider.

I'd attend JD's fantasy camp...

-
No dice. Down swinging. 1 out
