Watching Phils-Giants while waiting for the 'Stros. Someone just hit a sac fly into medium LF, where Juan Pierre caught it. Theriot didn't even hesitate and took off from third, and he was in the dugout by the time Pierre's banana throw made it to third base. What a noodle arm.

Well, you need to back it up to his actual injury, a couple of starts before he was sidelined.

Yep. I'd like to see some before and after tape on Norris to break down what's different. I bet that there is. That's what I used to do as a ptching coach. Tape doesn't lie.

He hit a triple in the ninth for two rbis. Nats came back and the game is still going.

Nats might gain in interest in Myers pretty soon here.

I've seen some interesting breakdowns on Shields, who evidently has changed his pitching approach and selection significantly in response to the crummier fielding behind him due to team injuries. I'm pretty sure Norris is throwing a different mix of pitches this year, but what or why I have no idea.

20 fucking baserunners through seven. Six walks, several of which have scored. God, this is ugly..

We'll get our first look at Cordero in the eighth. Nothing like coming into a 4-13 game. Having been in more than a few of those, it actually is fun. Francisco singles sharply to LF, after Corporan hit his first big league home run, and it was a pretty good shot.

Cordero is but a shell of his former self. But he tosses a scoreless frame. 13-4 Top 9

Moore hits a three run bomb to cut the margin to five, but Bixler caps an 0-5 night by striking out again. IO predict that Bixler goes down if it is a hitter going down, and EDR if it is a pitcher.
