Yeah, Gallardo's a fairy (10-2, 2.81 lifetime vs. Houston). This is just the lineup to fuck him up.
-
No Bogusevic = No Chance
-
Be sure and at least lurk tonight, in the Game Zone, as GZ moderator Mr. Happy is likely to be blowing several gaskets at once. Lefty hurler Haap has this sort of effect on him. +1

I love it!!! I will have to lurk a bit myself tonight as my wife is dragging me over to dinner at one of her friend's houses on a fucking game night. But at least it is a Happ start, so my eyes will miss the beatdown that Rickie Weeks, who owns Happ, as well as Hart and Peen, will probably administer. Five different Brewers have taken Happ deep. My prediction is that there will be three long balls given up by Happ tonight. If they're solo shots, then we've got a fleeting chance, although with the way the Astros have been hitting, three runs may well stand tall. If there are men aboard on those long balls, then it'll be a long night at MMPUS for the 15 or so intrepid souls brave enough to witness the carnage.
-
Motherfucker, some guy with a name that sounds like some kind of sushi.
-
2 down 1 to go
-
Crapola, Fuck Face goes yard on Happ.
-
Well, we at least got to see the fan give full effort on a tough grab.
Moore gets way more action than he probably wanted. 2-0 after a half inning.
-
Crapola, Fuck Face goes yard on Happ.
My over/under on Happ long balls tonight is three.
-
These dumbasses have tortured me with a half season of CJ when I could have been watching Moore instead.
-
The only thing dumber than playing Lee at first is playing Johnson at first (or Johnson at all). One can only hope that the decision is being made by Mills rather than someone who counts.
-
Don't fake bunt here, Schafer.
-
Gallardo apparently pitches around Happ to load the bases with two out so he can face the impotent Schafer. And Schafer strikes out on a pitch in the dirt.
-
End of 2 it's the Enablers 2 Spacemen 1. Astros leave the bases juiced, again.

What might you have done with Carlos had you been the decider?
-
What might you have done with Carlos had you been the decider?
I tell you what I would've done. I would've gotten all Manchurian Candidate on his ass, then activated him to kill that cocksucking DoRay while we all got to hear it.
-
Gallardo needs a haircut.
-
Good time for Dominguez to get off the snide
-
Good time for Dominguez to get off the snide
He almost did.
-
DeShields covering the baserunning cycle. Stolen base, caught stealing and picked off
-
These guys really don't deserve to wear that uniform. They should have to earn that honor. Fucking marketing.
-
You got a pitcher who is racking up the pitches and your top 2 in the order manage 3 pitches
-
i am just reveling in the memories with my 38 year old daughter, my 26 year old does not appreciate the talk
hoping happ keeps it a one runer
-
strike that out
-
Way to Chip Caray that homer, Brownie...
-
that's 3
-
and there is your 3rd. Prediction complete
-
The Alcohol Providers have hit three home runs. Lead 4 to 1.
-
Man, the offense is just pitiful right now.
-
Sweet Jesus, Drake. That wasn't even fucking close to the outside corner or the knees. Fuckwad.
-
Something mildly interesting going on in the Hooks game
-
It's okay to promote alcoholism but don't fucking put a hand-gun on your throwback. Fucking hypocrites.
-
Come on, CJ. You need a fucking 3 Wood to hit those pitches.
-
It's okay to promote alcoholism but don't fucking put a hand-gun on your throwback. Fucking hypocrites.
T'aint that the truth!
-
I've been repreived from dinner. My wife is the absolute best.
-

Has he tweeted about it?
-
Has he tweeted about it?
wrong hook
-
Well, fuck. I had Castro for having a better at-bat than that. 4-1
-
Gomez triples on a little misjudge by Schreefer, scores Maldanado. 5-1
-
Aoki singles Gomez home. 6-1 now
-
And that chases Happ 6.1 9 6 6 3 long balls is Happ's line. EDR on to pitch.
-
Peen out P6 Fuck you, Peen. Grab some bench, meat
-
Where was moore playing there?
-
Ramirez with a pop fly 2B, plates Aoki. 7-1.
-
Where was moore playing there?
With his back against the fucking wall, apparently.
-
Happ's line just got worse. Seven earnies. 7-1 Bottom 7. I bet that Gallardo shuts it down in favor of Loe. Just as soon rest him since he's already thrown over 100 pitches.
-
With his back against the fucking wall, apparently.
Brought to you by Dave Clark.
-
We'll see the Curse of the Rhiner in the top of the eighth.
-
Well, the no hitter is gone but Seaton still has a good one going with 7ks through 6 on a 1 hitter
-
How can this Loe fellow be so big and toss so soft? Two outs to Schreefer.
-
Which will happen first, Dominguez gets a hit or Halley's Comet returns?
-
I hope schreefer realizes that he is closer to a career minor leaguer than a top prospect at this point; however, I'm not optimistic about his self-awareness.
-
Rhiner Cruz'ssecondary pitch is pretty good tonight.
-

The comet returns in 2061. I'm guessing Dominguez will hit before then.
-

He's clueless about that. He just tweets about life that he doesn't understand.

But he's tryna understand it.
-
Tonight's MVP = Mrs. Happy
-
Braun need to sweep some sand outta that vajeen
-
Also, these caps look sharp back out on the diamond
-
Wellsir. We're down to our last two outs.
-
JD working until the end of the game with that comment about Ozzie Guillen probably likes the matchup of Cuban Livan versus Castro. Then he drills him. Allegedly.
-
First Astro hit for Matt Dominguez.
-
Dominguez arrives before the comet.
Man, the guy has one ugly fucking swing. There are pitchers on the staff with a better stroke.
-
Well, the no hitter is gone but Seaton still has a good one going with 7ks through 6 on a 1 hitter
Failed to finish it in the 9th but still a great game for Seaton 8.1 3 0 0 2 8 0
-

That is true. The dude needs some serious stick work. 7-1 BALLGAME
-
They did it! Worst record in the majors.
-
With a ten game trip in the near future, they will most likely have a big lead on that unflattering spot.
I heard Luhnow on the BP Podcast, which was recorded prior to the current slide. He seemed real serious about the importance of wins and building a winning attitude. So much so, in my estimation at least, that I wonder if Mills might be in trouble if this play continues for an extended period of time. I used to feel certain he would last the year, then they would assess his status. Now, I'm not so certain.

This is the team I thought we'd see all year. I have no idea how they flirted with .500 in May but they'll easily eclipse 100 losses. It didn't take Nostradamus to predict that.
Anyway, I think it's pretty clear that Mills will last the season and then get fired immediately afterwards. Who they think can manage this group of misfits any better than Mills is anyone's guess.

Seems like robothal agrees with y'all...

OSF beat me to the punch, but I saw it on FoxSports.com a few minutes ago. If I were Millsie, I'd want my sentence commuted to time served. He's done a pretty damn good job, but he seems to be regressing a bit. Perhaps it is time for a change.
-
Mills will go back to Boston when they shitcan Bobby Moustache and promptly win a World Series.

+1 Frankly, I think that Millsie made a huge career mistake taking the Houston job. It is akin to the situation where you're the most highly regarded assistant college football. However, you're itching to be a head man, so you leap at the first opportunity, which, unfortunately for you, is a coach's graveyard. And the next thing you know after you're out in four years and spend a year as a television color man, which you hate, is that you are a head coach at a second rate school that has no chance of ever being a player. And you're left to wonder what would have been your fate had you been a bit more patient. Ahhh, patience. Nice concept, but hard to learn.

I don't know, man. There are thirty of those jobs in the universe. If you're in the running and an allegedly major league team offers you the job even if you know that the owner's an idiot who's ruined the organization and is trying to sell the team and the GM is lost and there's no talent and no farm guess what? I think you take it. I'm sure you take it, in fact. You take it and do the very best you can despite all the obstacles and word will get out. People around the league will learn either that you're a hapless idiot working for a disgraceful organization or that you're a damn good dude and a damn good manager who's respected by everyone in the clubhouse and throughout the organization and trying like hell to work through an impossible situation.
We'll find out soon enough after Mills gets fired what the league thinks of him.
Of course Terry Collins and Bobby Valentine both currently have jobs so maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about.

My point was that perhaps he should have done a bit more due diligence before leaping out of Boston. Other clubs were snifiing around. He'd have gotten another opportunity had he waited, in my opinion.

Terry Collins is amazing to me. To hear the Mets players talk about what a great guy he is, friendly, approachable, etc... He must have had a personality transplant or some kind of epiphany or something while he was out of the limelight.
I give him credit though - that team is doing pretty well with a crappy lineup and terrible bullpen. Of course, that division has fallen off a lot in the last few years.

He's in the running for skipper of the year.

I'm sure that if they get to September still in contention, Collins' inherent uptightness will return to the fore.

Of this. there can be no doubt.
