Downs up, FeMart on the 7-day concussion DL because of a concussion he suffered at OKC. That would explain a lot.
-
NC State–Florida is on ESPNU right now. Astros 2nd and 7th round draftees in the lineup for Florida.
-
afternoon baseball game nothing could be better

It had to be something because he's looked like shit so far up here.
-
Did I miss seeing here somewhere that Jason Lane is now part of the Skeeters?
-
meant to ask is there something up with altuves red shoe strings?
-

Not that I've seen. I just checked his AAA stats earlier this week or toward the end of last week. That was fast. Of course, he was getting tattooed in AAA. ERA of over 9.
-
I'm happy with Lyles's velocity now. 92-93 is a helluva lot better than the 89-90 he had last season.
-
What happened there, Lowrie?
-

I think he starts for them today.

ACCORDING TO Brownie.

That boy is cursed
-
Michael Milken sighting. Mr. Inside trading.

Supposedly he got hit in an AB and aggravated it after being called up by diving for a ball. That would explain why he was ok the first game and progressively worse in the subsequent games.
-
Another error in judgment by Altuve. Shitfuck. This is painful to watch. He's a real work in progress out in the field. That's, what, his eighth error at 2B already?
-
You're making a mess, Lyles. You have to pitch around bone-headed fielders.
-

Yeah, but that one doesn't bother me (right now). He made a great play to stop that ball, and I like what that says about his ability. He made a bad decision to throw the ball (but he still could have been spared if Wallace had the sense to come off the bag), but hopefully he'll learn from that. "Good decisions come from experience. Experience comes from bad decisions." Or something like that.

I'll go ahead and say this: he's too erratic to play a position that requires a steady consistent hand.
-
Lyles throwing BP now.
-
The way that Ichabod Crane is going today, he probably has enough runs already to win this one.
-
Man, I'm tired of following losers. I'm going to start being a fan of winning teams. How are the Rangers doing?

I think he'll grow out of that. If our biggest problem in three years is Altuve's occasional blunder, we'll be in good shape.

I sure hope so, because he's giving away too many of the runs that he's producing.

Getting shut out in SFO. Of course. I sat Vogelsong today against the Rangers. Figures.
-
Getting shut out in SFO.
Damn, I guess I'll have to pick another team.
-
Lyles, with 4 1/3 innings of blaaaaargh...
-

The Rangers are in a funk right now. If you've got somebody you can start against them, you should do so. Of course, one of these days they'll break out in a big way, and you don't want your guy pitching against them on that day. Pretty helpful advice, huh?
-
Sale could take a shower in the barrel of a .22.
-
Chicago AL Bullies eleventeen, MIA Good Guys not a damn thing.
That Kyle...he's HILARIOUS!

Too big a risk. Had Cain been starting today, I'd have started him. But Vogelsong has been very good now for two seasons. Maybe Dave Righetti and Bruce Bochy really helped him out. He could be a middle of the rotation starter for just about every team in MLB right now.

Yep. Megan Landry alert. But the $64,000 question is where's Mrs. Jack?
-
Lyles, with 4 1/3 innings of blaaaaargh...
No. 1/3 inning of suckitude. I'll take four zeros anytime.
-

After their little-publicized "problem" she's appeared in cheeseburgers all across the tri-state area.
-
Boy, they're really looking like a AAA club today.

It's like they got shell-shocked in Colorado and haven't gotten over it.
-
Faith and Family Night? They need Exorcist Night.
-

Yep. And this road trip is seven games more. It could get real ugly. Noe, what happens if all of the bully is tired one night? And don't tell me Bogusevic.
-
Carpenter has hit 96 twice today. That's the best that I've seen from him.
-
When Carpenter goes in you know that Millsie has thrown in the towel.
-

I'm forced to watch the White Sox feed. Let's add having to listen to this twat and his "he gone" more often as another negative of the switch to the AL.
-

What's that 86 mph thing he's throwing? The first one to Konerko should have gone to the moon, but after that the change of speeds has seemed effective.

Hey! That's no twat! That's Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson!
Oh, yeah, I'm wrong; he's a twat.
-
Pierzynski lives up to his reputation in everything he does.
-
Welcome back, Rhiner Cruz.
-
Fuck Ralph Nader. The only thing he's interested in publicizing is himself.
-

That first one to Konerko I think was a floating spinning slider that he's lucky Konerko was taking. After that, his changeup and his slider was better.
-
Well, fuck. 10-0 now.
-
Ouch.
ETA: I think I'll go back to the Baylor-Arkansas game now.
-
I am glad I woke up early to watch this, much more fun than sleeping.
-
Cruz looked pretty good early in the year. I think that he has hit the wall.
-
Fuck Ralph Nader. The only thing he's interested in publicizing is himself.
You're a little late coming to that realization, are you?
-
And this one mercifully ends 10-1 BALLGAME
-
You're a little late coming to that realization, are you?
Nope, but JD and Brownie brought up that he'd filed a complaint with the Yankees because they have too many commercials in their broadcasts.

That'a actually funny. I thought that he might be bitching about their broadcasters.

But he's OUR twat!
