For those who missed it, perhaps in the furore over pink slime in our ground beef, Starbucks (amongst others) got busted for using a beetle-derived food colouring to make their strawberry frappuccinos look more red. They've now announced that they're dropping the beetle juice in favour of a tomato-based food colouring.

It's a shame they can't just make a strawberry Frappuccino out of some kind of naturally red fruit.
