I'm not sure who this Strasburg dude is... but... he keeps this up he might just be a decent'ish pitcher.  Just sayin'...

Astros with 2 Ks and a popup (or some kinda fly out) to begin T1.  Middle 1: HOU 0, WAS 0

Evidently 'Juan Castro' is catching for the Astros.  I presumed it was Jason Castro, but evidently I was mistaken as the Natinals announcers said it was 'Juan'...

Weiland's early perfecto/no-hit bid is gone after 1 (batter).  2nd dude singled to CF...  Zimmerman up.

Depends.  How much self-loathing are you feeling tonight?!?

AND BIG F'ING JOHNSON breaks up the 1.2 inning perfecto/no-hitter with a liner into left center.  2 outs T2 BFJ on 1B.

The Natinals $126M flied out to RF after getting handcuffed.  Xavier Nady with a single into right (0-2 pitch, but his a pretty good one).  1 out, Xavier on 1B.

STRASBURG now 0-5 on the season.  SERIOUSLY!

And that last 0-fer delivered via a soft liner to Mr. The Altuve.  1 out, none on, B3.

Ian Desmond grounds one in between BFJ and 3B.  Strong throw from JD, but not in time to get the speedy Desmond before he got the double...  B3, 1 out, runner on 2B.

Natinals beating the Astros 3-2 (in the hit department that is).  And Lombardozzi single-handidly doubles the Natinals hit lead to now 4-2.  REALLY nice bunt-for-hit with an E1 allowing Desmond to score (and Lombardozzi to get to 2B).  B3, HOU 0, WAS 1: 1 out, runner at 2B.

I'm outta PBP juice after B3, and thus do hereby bequeath the remainder of tonights PBP to you, your heirs, agents, and assigns...

Zimmerman walks. B3: 1 out, runners at 1B and 2B: A LaRoche (whichever one it is) is up for the Natinals.

And speaking of 'Juice' I guess the Clemens retrial just started up again.

I guess A LaRoche missed the 'juice' memo, or opted against it, as he flew out to the warning track in RF for out #2.  Lombardozzi tags and goes to 3B on the play.  B3: 2 outs, runners at the corners for the Natinals.  Werth up.

If you're looking at Werth's $126M contract and basing Werth's worth on the amount of souvenirs he sent into the stands in B3, then he might be pulling his weight.  If you're evaluating Werth's worth on production in B3 of the 4/16/12 Natinals v. Astros game, then you'd pretty much consider it a shitty deal...

Werth flies out to Schreefer to end B3.
