This whole Jackie Robinson day thing with the same numbers and no names on the back of jerseys is really going to throw 80% of the 7000 people watching this game for a loop.

Is that just a thermocouple readout or can it do PID too?

Have you seen this site (http://biology.clc.uc.edu/fankhauser/cheese/cheese_course/cheese_course.htm)? I've made some of the easy recipes from and they turned out nicely. I've been meaning to make a cheese press for about a year.

It's a PID for cooking sous vide

Have not seen, have been using the New England Cheesemaking site (this is my first foray into cheese)

That, my friends, is why I think that Happ should try for more ground balls. The high pitch strategy to me is feast or famine. I love the strikeout too, but the key is getting outs however it can be done.

Well, for one thing, he seems to try to backhand a lot of low balls. For another, he doesn't seem to move laterally at all, choosing to jab at balls instead. I can foresee the pitchers getting gun-shy.

I agree on all scores. That jabbing method usually doesn't work out, and it will attract the boo birds if he doesn't start hitting.
