It doesn't really look like it. The dark times are upon us.

Not even the bump to 77?

Oftentimes not. I don't know for sure about this weekend, but they're definitely not on tonight.

I've checked 77, no luck recently.

The Astros were on 1639 on Wednesday night. The Astros often are pre-empted by college football on Saturdays, even in the good years.
I would wait until next week's Phillies games to see if the policy has changed.

Monday's Astros-Phillies game is on 1639 on my DVR schedule.

Tonight and tomorrow night are My20 broadcast and those are NOT carried by the any cable provider unless My20 is a part of the local broadcast for said cable (and in Austin, it is not). Not the fault of TimeWarner, much as I would love to blame them any way.

On Tuesday night, the Astros are on 1639 and the Rangers are on 77.

thank for for the first half of the information

Not TV related, but Austin related:
The BIG news this week is that now fans of the Longhorn Station can enjoy our programming on AM-1300 the Zone… 103.1 FM… and the very popular Iheartradio app… now there are three great ways to enjoy the Longhorn station.
There is a chance having 103.1 FM could lead to more Astros games being aired locally in Austin, even though 740 comes in pretty clear anyway.

Nice! I lost AM when I tinted my windows

I'll be skeptical unless they get a third station like 104.9/1260/1530. 1260 recently changed formats to mirror 104.9's programming. I'd be willing to bet that 1300 and 103.1 will do the same.
Also, I may be cursed or just in the wrong part of town but I have never once picked up an Astros game on 740 in Austin.

AM 1260 still breaks off of 104.9FM when the Rangers are on. I hope the Astros do the same.

What?? Is this common?

Yesterday AM 1260 broke away from 104.9 programming.to air the Rangers/A's game. But alas, last night high school football was on both AM 1300 and 103.1FM, and no Astros game. I'll shoot John Madani an email.

Yep. Newer cars with the antenna integrated with the rear window defroster strips. When you tint that back window, the tint (which contains metal) must be removed on those lines or your reception is gone. Cutting around those lines looks like shit and costs extra. Not at all worth it for AM.

Wow. I guess that's one good thing about being cheap. I'll always have AM radio.
