Looks like Kepp is seeing Brian Wilson's beard colorist.
-
Altuve sixth and bourg 2nd, why not?
-
Why is anyone watching this when the lingerie league kickoff is on?

Because I'm into BDSM, none of that soft core shit.

Dangit JA (pronounced 'Jay'), intentional walk to get to the pitcher and then walk 'em to load the bases?!?! You're killin' me man...

I was posting the same - he has to have serious mental or mechanical issues. Inexcusable..
-
Well, at least I got the feat (unassisted triple play) for the trivia question. I had no idea that Furcal or Tulowitzki had done, however.
-
Good AB by Schafer before coaxing a walk.
-
Crap. Tejada craps on one, but DiRosa saves his ass.

I really wanted to see Martinez come up with the bases loaded.
-
You going to have a chance to head to any of the games in San Fran this weekend Mr. H?
-
Nope. Gonna watch them from my chair at home.
-
Happ looking good so far, happy Friday folks!
-
Have I been Cabrera'd at Altuve v Tatu for Seperated at Birth?
-
Shit. Bad hop for Barmes. Followed by a good sac, runner on 2nd with 1 out.
-
Strike zone is microscopic tonight.
-
Kep is quality
-
Knew Happ couldn't continue shutting them out.
-
Happ should be a lot fucking better than he is. I'm not complaining about tonight specifically, just in general. Maybe he will be some day.
-
Another Happ start; another high pitch count per inning outing. Sigh.
-

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. Happ's stuff isn't good enough to pitch up in the zone consistently. He needs to work on his hammer and pitch down in the zone.

I'm with Happy on this, though: Happ seems to think he can work up in the zone, and his shit just isn't that good. If he isn't down, he's going to get drilled. And, really, if he isn't down and on the corners, he's going to get drilled.

Seriously: I did not see this post before I posted mine.

I think he's rushing ever so slightly every time he's up in the zone. So, I don't think all of that is necessarily on purpose.
-
Happ's been good tonight, squeezed a bit on his game plan of low strikes to Keppinger cost him there

Happ's been better tonight, but he's pitching against the anemic Giants.

J: he pitches up in the zone on purpose. I've seen him interviewed. He came up as a flyball and strikeout pitcher. His stuff is good enough to do that all the way up to AAA. However, it isn't good enough to do it consistently in the big leagues in my opinion. Additionally, he throws way too many pitches, and his fastballs have almost no run on them. If I was him, I'd work on a cutter and work hard on my hook. Take a page from Wandy.

I'm with you on this. I agree with Hap and austro, too, but I think that his mechanics are fucked up and that leads to poor control. I happen to think he does have the pitches to be successful but lacks the command.

If this is true (and I have no reason to think that it's not) then he's a fucking idiot.

I'd have to see film of him in Philly versus what we're seeing now to know whether or not mechanics are an issue. Film doesn't lie.

Come on, Q!
-
Unhitch the trailer, Barmes, fuck.
-
Michaels, fuck yah
-
Q!
Although in a sense I miss Corporan. Games that he's involved in are more exciting.
-
Michaels better get this run home.
-
Bring back the black road caps
-
Bogusevic pinchhits for Michaels.
-
Shit. That was a big league changeup on 3-2.
-
Shit!!! Bogusevic K's. Now we need a hit.
-
Shit. That was a big league changeup on 3-2.
I guess he didn't bother to read the scouting report on this guy.
-
OK, now this ump is pissing me the fuck off. FUCK.
-
Now, all of a sudden, the strike zone expands to six inches off the inside corner. WTF?
-
Crapapples. Failure to execute. Again.
-
OK, now this ump is pissing me the fuck off. FUCK.
You're right. The strike zone has started to move. Bellino is known as an inconsistent, low strike caller, but he's tough around the edges. He calls strikes between the catcher's knees.
-
She's gonna give that old man a coronary.
-
She's gonna give that old man a coronary.
He'll die happy.

Nah. He's an old hippy from the Haight.

Last night's ball guys were apparently an old Grateful Dead roadie and his son.
-
Bourgeois is 3 for his last 27.

I saw him but only half-heard what they were saying about him. Is this something special they do?
-
PacBell (or whatever it is now) looks like a fun place to see a game.
-

I think they must have some sort of "competition" where people submit applications to be honorary ball-folks.
-
Ramirez is painting.
-
PacBell (or whatever it is now) looks like a fun place to see a game.
It is. Fantastic.
-
Wow this guy is fucking terrible.
-
And the migrating strike zone strikes again. El Caballo called out looking for the 3rd out of the 8th.
-
Carlos is right, BS call
-
Fucking cocksucker. What a fucking amateur. Find some fucking umpires who aren't incompetent fucksticks. They're making the game unwatchable.
-
Wow. I tuned in to this game JUST in time to see one of the most horrific fucking ridiculous "strike" calls since the heyday of the sniveling fuckin Atlanta Braves. Carlos was right to drop his bat and show disrespect for that call. Atrocious. Ball was a foot outside.
-

That's just the latest in an entire night full of fun-house mirror calls. It's been quite the adventure.
-
It is. Fantastic.
I need to get out there for a game. There and Philly

What you don't know is that this fucking dickhead has had a zone tighter than a gnat's ass up until this last half inning.
-

His rep is that he usually calls them between the knees. You can miss your spot and throw it over the plate and he won't call it. He must have an early dinner date now. The call against Lee was horrible.
-
Q took one off of the bean.
-
Bourgeois hitting around .210 since the ASB.
-

Huh, I was thinking that perhaps having to call a JA Happ start had just completely destroyed his ability to distinguish what a true strike is.
-
come on tuve
-
No quibble about that one.
-
Fitting way to end it
-
What a fucking joke.
-
Shitfuck. Gotta go get 'em tomorrow.
-
Fuckshit. Go pound that Budweiser.
-
I guess that's a fitting way to end it. With any luck that fucker will be out where he can take a liner off the noggin tomorrow.
