Title: Latest SI story on Bryce Harper

Two nights ago, I saw Bryce Harper play again. I had earlier seen him in Class A Hagerstown (Md.) and this time he was playing in Bowie for his new AA Harrisburg (Pa.) team. While he didn't get any hits, he definitely wasn't overmatched. I was surprised by his speed.

After the game, he stayed for half an hour signing autographs -- and this wasn't even his home ballpark. I know he has gotten a lot of scrunity and criticism, but I think he's handling this year as well as can be expected of an 18-year old.

Of course, he's no Jackie Robinson, though. (You'll understand the context of that comment when you read this story.)

I have no problem with Harper.  That Nats spokesman, though, needs his ass kicked.

Doesn't seem like a bad kid to me... who wasn't immature sometimes at 18?

I didn't read the article, but if he was some scrub in A ball, I doubt anyone would be willing to overlook some of his shit.

I think it's the opposite. If he was some scrub in A ball, nobody would pay attention and he wouldn't have to deal with 90% of what he deals with
