They must cost absolutely nothing.   Why else would we keep them around?   They're terrible at what they do, they have no name recognition, they've got such distinctive voices that 15 years later we still can't tell them apart and, oh yeah, they're not Astros fans.

I think that the umpire  is squeezing the pitchers a bit, but admittedly I am sympathetic to pitchers. Molina L8 to track; Greene line drive HR on 3-1 pitch; Jay works count full before BB to 2B; Lohse K; Punto works count full before 1B; Freese works count full before Ks. 2-0 Bottom 5 Happ at over 100 pitches

See, this is what I've been trying to tell you. Get drunk in the Fan, not in downtown. You'll be way better off and your chances of survival increase dramatically.

Also recommended is the district of Shockoe Bottom.

He's trying to prolong his MLB experience.  Much as I'd like to see Hall get the boot, I expect Inglett to be gone when Barmes is activated.  (Keppinger is our best hope at being rid of Hall.)

You know, Carlos used to live right down the way from me but a year and a half ago or so he completed a house another two hours away. He doesn't even live off the main highway anymore, he lives off the road going to Chitré.

So in other words while I'd be happy to go have a chat with him over the ASB (assuming he's not al All Star) it will be more inconvenient than it might have been in years past.

I'm a spurs fan by birth, and I love Sean Elliot, but how is he allowed to announce Spurs games on national TV?  He doesn't even pretend at objectivity.

I believe NBA.tv uses local announcers.

I did not know that.  That's fine with me.

I wish the NFL would use local announcers for local games.

Wait a second; you guys got the SA broadcasters on NBAtv last night?   We got the Memphis broadcasters here.   I thought I knew what homerism was.

I'm not even sure the Memphis color guy, Elliott Perry, played for the Grizz.  He played for just about everyone else over the years.
