Great game
-
Congrats to all of the TCU fans! Awesome game!
-
Maybe if Wisconsin could have played Little Sisters of the Poor, they'd have scored more.
Suck it, Big Ten.
-
Great play by the LB to bat the pass down at the LOS. The receiver was wide open.
-
I'm glad the Badgers didn't run up the middle more. TCU is a very well coached team. I hope they can hang on to Patterson for the long run.

Shutchomouth.
I hope Patterson is there for exactly one more year.

Best defense in the nation.
Defense don't take a night off. Even with all those cupcake games.
Suck it, Big Ten.

I agree, Coach. It was a great game. One of the best ones I've seen this bowl season.

Obviously I cannot be very objective about the win. What a thrill.
Looking at the stats, if you had told me that TCU was outgained 385 to 301, Wisconsin rushed for 226 yards, and that Time of Possession was about 36 minutes to 24 in favor of the Badgers, I would have assumed that the Frogs lost by 10-14 points.
That they did not is really a testament to the gritty performances and playmaking by Dalton and Carder, among others.

When the hell is the Horns game?

Canceled. Too scared to play UH.

*facepalm*
Fantastic win for the Froggies. Really happy for the TCU community. Kiss TCU's scaly horned butts, Big Ten.

Here's hoping that Arkansas can dot the "i" with an especially large load of hog shit tomorrow night.

Oh How I Hate Ohio State.
And on another note, Geaux Tigers.

Are they ever going to get around to playing the Cotton Bowl?

Thinking Stanford and TCU would have been a hell of game to watch, not that Wisconsin and TCU wasn't.
EDIT: It sounds like we missed out on a MOB-like performance from the Stanford band last night. They were allegedly targetting LeBron as part of their act, so the Orange Bowl refused to allow them to perform at halftime.
EDIT2: Thanks for the update, Ron. Neither team's band performed.
-
I loved the Stanford crowd. Quite a few "nerd"-related signs to be seen.

I had no idea about this regarding the Stanford band (http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/Orange-Bowl-bans-the-Stanford-Band-for-LeBron-J?urn=ncaaf-303032). I would love to see them.
Plus this:
• Once mocked the kidnapping of Cal alum Patty Hearst in Berkeley;
• Commemorated the anniversary of UCLA alum Jayne Mansfield's (falsely rumored) decapitation in a car accident by playing "Another Saturday Night and I Ain't Got No Body" at the Rose Bowl;
• Was banned from Oregon for 11 years for making fun of the pending extinction of the state's spotted owl during a conservation fight;
• Received a lifetime ban from Notre Dame in 1997 for playing with a conductor in a nun's habit and a wooden crucifix as a baton during a show titled "These Irish, Why Must They Fight?" which featured jokes about the 19th century Irish Potato Famine and reportedly prompted a fan to charge the field screaming "You're all going to hell!";
• Had members skip rehearsal to play outside the O.J. Simpson murder trial;
• Employed five members of the dance team, the Stanford Dollies, to mock polygamy at BYU.
-
I'm thinkin' a Stanford-Rice battle of the bands is in order.
-
They also got banned from delta (I think?) For seeing what would happen if they all ran from one side of the charter to the other.
Shows have been pretty hit or miss recently.
