Firstly, and this may come as relief to close observers of Oktoberfest statistics in recent years, items retrieved from the tents this year again included a set of dentures, which had been absent from the list in 2009 for the first time in many years.

my dentures (and camera) still are in my possession.

Carolyn and i drank 7 litres combined over two days...as i recall. the first day, which was a Sunday and my birthday, getting a seat was impossible so we just walked around and drank at the Augustiner Keller.

i assumed the question meant at Oktoberfest. our daily totals those days was higher if off-site consumption counts.

yep. made them leave in NYC the same day we boarded. our dinner companions were great.
