First pitch comebacker goes off of Norris' heel. He throws the batter out but felt the pain a little afterward. He's staying in the game.
-
Norris had to cover first on the grounder to Lee for the second out. He was limping a little on the way over. Q out for a few words before The Peen steps in.
-
Peen puts a 2-0 fastball into the fifth row of the Crawford Boxes, 1-0.
-
Inglett 1-3 (good scoop by Lee saved Norris); Escobar 3-1; Braun solo shot on 2-0 cookie; Fielder Ks. 1-0 Bottom 1.
-
Norris' motion appears unchanged. He struck out Fielder on a couple of nice sliders that dove at the plate at 90mph.
-
Pence has lost whatever ability he had to hit in the clutch, apparently.

Fuck it, let's all meet in Philly for Opening Day.
-
I'll be happy to go to Philly for opening day. I'll have to wait till September again to see the Astros in DC.
-
That's game 2, right?
Yep. Best of 3 series. ValleyCats lead series 1-0. Advanced to the finals by beating the [wannabee] Jakes in the opening round.
-
Norris has a really good slider tonight. McGehee K on some cheese at the knees; Hart K on a nasty changeup; Gomez 4-3. 3-1 Astros Bottom 2.
-
FPHuck it, let's all meet in Philly for Opening Day.
FIFY

I wonder if this idea will gain some steam. It would be cool to meet up in Philly.
-
ValleyCats up 5-1 in the middle of the 7th!
-
Sanchez four pitch BB to 2B; Quintero Ks on an ugly swing; Norris Sac 1-4; Bourn L7 on 3-2 pitch. 3-1 Astros Top 3.

I'll see if I can remember next spring.
-
Terrific double play!
-
Lucroy BB on 3-2 pitch; Capuano P1; Inglett 1-6-3 on a slick play by Norris. 3-1 Astros Bottom 3.
-
Sweet DP there! Nice stretch by Carlos to finish it (he's going to feel that tomorrow...).
-
Terrific double play!
That was fantastic.
-
Wow. That bolt by Lee was almost to second before the pitcher got his glove up.
-
Keppinger F9 to the track; Pence L5; Lee 1B to CF; CJ F8. 3-1 Astros Top 4.
-
ValleyCats up 5-1 through 8. ValleyCats pitchers have retired 15 of the last 16 batters. Quevedo went 7 innings (82 pitches). Converted SS DeLeon puts 'em down in order in the B8 and appears likely to throw B9 as well for the 'Cats.
-
Escobar F8 on 3-2 pitch; Braun 1B to CF; Fielder P4; McGehee K. Pissant was the answer to the AT&T trivia question. 3-1 Astros Bottom 4.
-
ValleyCats decide to pull DeLeon in favor of their other closer Ness. Cyclones have runners at the corners with 1 out.
-
Michaels BB on 3-2 pitch to 3B; Sanchez P3; Quintero is looking like horseshit at the plate E4; Norris Ks; Bourn is seeing a healthy dose of yackers, L3. 3-1 Astros Top 5.
-
Ness induces a GIDP from the Cyclones and the ValleyCats WIN THE NYPL CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
-

-
Keppinger 2B to LCF; Pence 5-3 roll over; Lee 5-3 roll over; CJ 3U. Six pitch inning. 3-1 Astros Top 6. I have to run. Take us home a winner, OSF!
-
Got you back!
-
T6: Norris back on the bump.
Inglett walks to lead off the inning (looked good though). 3 leadoff walk for Norris tonight.
Escobar: flies out to Pence for the first out.

End 8: MIL 1, HOU 3
Misc Footer tweet: To answer a lot of your questions, no, I have not taken the Blue Bell tour in Brenham and to be quite honest, if I'm going to tour a Texas-bred factory, I'm heading to Shiner.

Good girl.

Good girl.
Earlier this week on Facebook she randomly "liked" St. Petersburg Vodka.
-
T8: Bud's back (and yes, I realize it is the 8th inning, and no, having Bud as the pitcher is not a typo). Wallace in to play 1B for carlos.
Counsel (PH for Loe): imagine that, Bud with another leadoff walk. At 97 pitches now.
Inglett: grounder to Keppingers left, throw to 1B in time. 1 out, runner at 2B. Bud at 100 pitches.
Escobar: looping single in front of Bourn, runner at 2B has to hold at 2B. 1 out, runners at 1B and 2B.
Fulchino coming in to fact Braun
Top 8 (1 out, runners at 1B and 2B): MIL 1, HOU 3

Pitching change: Byrdak in to face Fielder
Top 8 (2 outs, runners at 1B and 2B): MIL 1, HOU 3
-
Byrdak Ks Fielder!
-
Top 8 (2 outs, runners at 1B and 2B): Byrdak
Fielder: goes down 0-2 and throws strike 3, but Q had called time late so no K there. Strikes out swinging on the next pitch though!
Middle 8: MIL 1, HOU 3
-
B8: RHP Jeffries in to pitch for the Brewers
CJ: rips a double into the left field corner. 0 out, runner on 2B.
Michaels: shallow pup out to center. 1 out, runner at 2B.
Sanchez: hard single up the middle, Johnson gets the stop sign at 3B. 1 out, runners at the corners.
Q (0-3 tonight, not getting this again... have to PH for him here): And just like that, Q grounds into a 6-4-3 DP...
End 8: MIL 1, HOU 3
-
Rats, I thought they'd pick up a couple more runs in that inning.
-
Damn it Mills, gotta PH for Q there.
-
Damn, McGehee always does that to me in MLB: The Show too.
-
Rats, I thought they'd pick up a couple more runs in that inning.
They might have if they'd made the no-brainer move to PH for Q there.
-
T9: Lyon in to try to close it out.
McGehee: launches one to RF. MIL 2, HOU 3
Hart: grounds out to Keppinger. 1 out, none on.

That comment may just work out for her after all...
In reply from the Saint Arnold Brewing Company (http://twitter.com/SaintArnold/status/24535067331):
Alyson, we'd love to host you at our craft brewery sometime. We're just down the street from Minute Maid.

I swear it hit the train.
-
I swear it hit the train.
It definitely did. Unfortunately, it didn't knock the train off the tracks and out of the park.
-
That was a first for me. I've seen them hit the track, but never the train. It was awesome.

From my vantage point in front of the television, I thought that it hit the train too. It was a mammoth shot.
-
He definitely hit the train. So, CJ now stands for Casey Jones?
