Bottom 5 - tied 0-0. I must say Randy Wolf is pitching a phenomenal game.
-
Nice piece of hitting by wallace. Kept his hands back and went the other way with it.
-
I don't know how fast or slow Wallace is, but he doesn't *look* real fast. Him and Carlos back-to-back on the bases ought to be amusing.
-
Berkman 0-2 today, hitting 2nd and playing 1b.
-
Kick all three of those dumbass interfering motherfuckers out of the stadium for ever.
-
Hart opposite field 2 run bomb. 2-0 brewers.
-
Meanwhile, in Tampa, Puma is playing 1B for the Yanks and he's made 2 errors...although I was watching and I thought one of the errors should have been on Cano.
-
Heading to bottom of the 6th, top of the order due up.
-
Bourn - bloop single in front of Braun.
-
Sanchez - 5-4-3 dp, 2 down
Berkman with his first hit for the yanks.
-
Kepp - flyout to end the inning
-
Top 7 2-0 Brew Crew
Sexy Bitch - tapper to Wright. 1 out.
-
Escobar - punched out looking. 2 down.
-
Kottarus - Ks looking. 3 outs.
Carlos Silva lasted only 1/3 of an inning for the cubs v colorado. Nice.
-
Bottom 7 - 2-0 Brew Crew
Pence - liner off Wolf's pitching hand for a base hit. Wolf immediately out of the game.
Wesley Wright has pitched a career high 7 innings.
-
Damn. Shame for that to happen to Wolf.
-
Hit up on his throwing wrist and the had a closeup of his arm as he was walking off briskly - already swelling, a quarter-sized knot just to the side of his wrist bone.
-
Loe on for Wolf
Lee - 4 pitch walk. 2 on, 0 out. CJ up.
-
CJ - 4 pitch walk. Loe did not warm up enough. Macha is on to make a double switch. Edmonds out, Gomez in CF.

-
Boy, is he dialed in or what?
-
Oh baby!
-
He has 7 fucking homeruns in 110 ABs
-
...and 5 of his last 19 hits have been HR
-
Q - lineout right at Braun

-
Tsssss! That's the sound of a sizzlin' Michaels!

Top 8, 4-2 Astros
Feliz stays in at 1b for JMike, Lopez on for Wright, who pitched a heck of a game, by the way.
Gomez Ks swinging, 1 out.

Berkman is facing Qualls.
Remember that stoner dude fan that had the "Quall Call" custom jersey? Wonder what happened to him?
-
Weeks - just got ate up. K swinging on a check swing. 2 outs.
-
Hart - Popout to Kepp. 3 down.

Nice catch by that fan behind 3B. Tough day for Weeks.
-
Lee - bounce out to SS. 2 outs.
-
That was more than "errant". That was fucking terrible.
-
CJ - broken bat groundout to 3b. 3 outs.
-
I can't put my finger on why but this team is playing like a burden has been lifted recently.
-
CJ - broken bat groundout to 3b. 3 outs.
End of the rook's streak.
-
Lopez looks *very* promising.
-
Bourgeois in for Lee, Lyon on to pitch the 9th. 5-2 Astros...
Prince - groundout to 2b. 1 out.
-
That was more than "errant". That was fucking terrible.
Did you see the play yesterday (I think, maybe Friday night, I can't remember anymore) where somebody hit a ball in the gap and the CF grabbed it and wheeled to throw but it slipped out his hand and he "threw" it sideways? I'm not sure whether it was scored as an inside-the-park homer or a triple and an error, but it was hilarious.
-
Braun - bounce out to Feliz. 2 down.
-
Good Guys win!
-
Good Guys win!
Woo hoo! Five in a row!
-
McGehee - flyout to Pence.
5-2 Astros Win. Wesley Wright with his first career victory as a starter.
-
Thanks for the PBP!
-
Longest win streak in 2 years. Wright gets his first win as a starter.
-
Thanks for the PBP!
No problem. Glad someone found it useful.
-
Lopez looks *very* promising.
Indeed. He was nasty today. Made Weeks look absolutely overmatched.
-
any word on why Lindstrom didn't pitch the ninth?
-
Lindstrom has a 'tight back' as per Mills in the postgame.
-
Abad down, Fulchino up.
-
Lindstrom has a 'tight back' as per Mills in the postgame.
thanks.
-
Great game! Got to see Wallace's first major league base hit, plus a grand slam by Michaels. Wesley had a pretty nice outing himself. Plus my kids got to be on the JumboTron, (or whatever they call the big screen) and run the bases after the game.
-
COOL! Glad you had a great time at the game!
-
If wright can continue to locate his fastball like today, he could have a promising future
-
Outscored them 16-2 for the series right? Methinks the vaunted Crew offense too fond of lefties.
