I'm picking the filly both because my momma (rest her soul) would want me to, and because she's got a hell of a name: Devil May Care.

My gut instinct was to bet on the horse Calvin Borel rode, and I didn't go with my gut. 3 Derby wins in the past 4 years is damned impressive. Although announcers proclaimed the filly to be a mudder, the track, or the field, or both, proved to be too much for her.
