Missed most of it, but caught the end of a conversation in the Astros postgame with Footer in which she said Backe was going to get to start in place of Hampton (who has a groin strain?). I presume they meant it would be Thursdays start (but it could also mean Roy will get that start and then Backe the next one).

Come on. Baseball would be boring if every lazy fly ball ends in an out. Much more exciting to have the centerfielder leaning against the wall for 5 seconds waiting for the ball to drop just on the other side. Cue Fireworks and 'The Natural' music.
