Young: B low and away, B outside, B high, S down the middle, B outside. Young walks.
Hamilton: S low outside corner, F into 3b stands, K swinging, bat goes into the 1b stands.
And somehow Young hurt himself over at 1b. Looks like he tweaked a knee. Oh, Q made a snap throw down to 1b, and Young jammed his foot into the bag awkwardly.
Jones: B low, S swinging on a sinker or something, B low and away, S swinging at a fb down the middle, B low and away, fouls a breaking pitch down the 3b line, fouled back on a jam shot, popped up to Berkman behind the mound (a little more exciting than it needed to be).

But in a close game where the the outcome is not at all certain WHY THE FUCK would you take your best hitter out of the game for a supposed defensive advantage or, tonight, for a pinch runner? If the pinch runner is Darrius Heyward-Bey and you're Al Davis, OK, I get it. Otherwise you are a fucking idiot. Jason Michaels strikes out to end the game when Carlos Lee, the best hitter on the team, is sitting idly on the bench. No wonder Carlos laughs lustily at Coop's fuck-ups.

The way Michaels has been hitting I don't see he is much value to the team. He is not that fast and he isn't that great on defense. I think there are better fits for speed and defense in RR.
